Chadwick Boseman

Born and raised in South Carolina Chadwick went from just a stage actor to a household name after taking upon the role of a black panther. Chadwick has opened up the doors and became a role model for many around the world. After attending and graduating from the historic HBCU Howard and starring and directing plenty of stage productions, Boseman went on to taking roles on screen. Following his recurring role on the TV show Lincoln Heights, Chadwick went onto stare in multiple movies. A role that shot him off to stardom was the role he picked up playing Jackie Robinson, Boseman was dedicated to this role and it showed when the movie earned $95 million on its release. By 2016 Boseman had taken on a role in which he would be most known for, his role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as T’challa the Black Panther. This role had solidified him as a role model for many young black kids around the world. Chadwick had become a household name that everyone knew of, with taking on this role as a black superhero he opened up the doors to allow so many people to be able to see them self on the screen as a marvel superhero. The Black Panther movie shattered box office records and he stayed as a recurring character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and appeared in multiple more movies. Through all of this and playing a powerful superhero Chadwick had been battling colon cancer, this was something he had kept private and didn't let the public know. After four years of battling this cancer, he had lost his life. Chadwick Boseman was a man that through all his triumphs was struggling without anyone knowing, he had become a real-life superhero. Boseman will be remembered for his remarkable roles that he was able to bring to life and showcase on the big screen, he will be remembered as a legend. A man that became a household name, a man that is a role model for so many, a man who is more than what he gave out, a strong black remarkable man Chadwick Boseman
