Greetings Parrot Heads and to all the ships at sea /) /) /) /) ~~~~~~~~ Well, another successful Buffett concert is under our belts. I trust a good time was had by all? 18 new members joined our phlock! $1200.00 presented to Light House Charity Team from a combination of their cooking for tips and money from the libation donations. Anything that we need to do differently next year, besides adding more shel- ter, cooler weather, etc. now is the time, while fresh in your mind, to add your input! Talk to any board member to put it on the coconut telegraph. Just a bit less than 4 weeks to go till we again strut our pheathers with our 20th “Riddles In the Sand” celebration. Got your what to bring/what to do check list go- ing? Updates will be coming left and right between now and then, so keep your eye out for the RITS blasts. Always in need of helpers and donations, don’t be shy! Contact us. This is YOUR club, this is when we/you get to show off to 300 of our “soon to be closest phriends”! Get involved. Signed up for the Margaritaville “Parrot Head” night with the Houston Astros yet? Sat- urday evening, July 15. Come join us, the 5 O’Clock Phlock and the Houston PHC as we make some noise! Did I also mention that it is David Carr bobble head night? Help wanted: Any creative writers out there? Back in 2010, our club was bestowed the coveted “Golden Coconut” award, for being the top club in this universe by our Moth- er ship, PHIP’s! WE ALL would like to be the 1st parrot head club to win it twice. What is needed, you say to yourself? Just take a copy of our 2016 GBPHC year in review, and turn it into a whimsical tale of all that the club accomplished that year. Must be done by the end of this coming August In order to submit for consideration. Help wanted part 2: The club is in need of an Election Chairperson. Must not have served in that capacity in the last 2 elections. Tab tops, corks, phones, eyeglasses, you got ‘em? We want ‘em! Bring to any happy hour to drop off. Happy Hour: While enjoying the music and good friends, did you also know that you can drop off your liquor donations for RITS, volunteer to help at RITS and get 50/50 tick- ets as well? What a great country!

ingredients 1 bottle Moscato wine (750 ml) 1/2 C brandy 1 lime, thinly sliced 2 C Del Monte® watermelon, cubed and cold 2 C Del Monte Gold® Extra Sweet Pineapple, cubed and cold lemon lime soda, for serving ice cubes Report this ad
instructions Pour the wine and brandy into a pitcher and stir to combine. Add the sliced lime, watermelon, and pineapple. To serve, place some of the fruit in a glass with ice. Pour the sangria over the ice and top with lemon lime soda.
