Classes & Seminars Band Rehearsals Students are placed into bands according to their age and skill level. Once placed, they will be off and running on a creative journey writing original music and preparing for a live performance at the end of the session. Recording Their Original Song All students will record their original work in our state-of-the-art recording studio. Shooting a Music Video Students will shoot a music video that consists of live stage shots as well as conceptual ideas related to the lyrics and themes of their songs. All videos will be shot and edited by our trained video staff. Check out our past videos on our YouTube page: http://www.youtube.com/user/RealJamsAcademy Seminars Throughout each week students will attend clinics led by experts on everything from instrument proficiency to recording techniques. All clinics are designed to be “hands on” and high energy.

• Song Writing This seminar teaches students the fundamentals of song writing. They will walk away with a better understanding of song forms, simple chord structures and how to approach writing lyrics.

• Digital Recording Students will learn the basics on some of today’s newest software

• Stage Presence This class focuses on ways to over come stage fright and will teach students techniques to better prepare for upcoming performances. Group Lessons Group Lessons are instrument specific classes. Students will learn essential techniques specific to their instrument. All classes are designed to be “hands on” and high energy.

Our Staff RealJams Academy would not be the unique music experience it is without our best-in-class faculty. This diverse group of highly trained musicians and music educators draws on unparalleled talent, knowledge and passion to inspire the confidence our students need to play and create the music they want.

Student Skill Levels This program is designed for students of all skill levels. We do ask that all students have had at least some private lessons instruction or band experience before attending. (If you have any questions regarding your son or daughter’s skill level please give us a call or email us)

Additional Summer RealJams Academy Programs Music & Theater Students Will: *Offered in Both Burlington & Andover • Sing! Act! Choreograph! Ages Elementary School -High School • Compose and Perform Original Music & Theater- Children (Grades 1-6) Music & Scripts Explore Musical Theater in an encouraging and safe environment with Create Your Own Character experienced educators and performers.
