Murder, Arrogance of Power, and the Struggle for Social Dominance in the US
Murder, Arrogance of Power, and the Struggle for Social Dominance in the US The moral cesspool of National Politics Introduction Since leaving a start-up company as a result of the dot-com bust, I have engaged in, among other things, reviewing the literature to try to understand the controversy regarding various, potentially linked, events, including: the murders of John Kennedy, Martin Luther King, and Robert Kennedy; Iran-Contra; the PROMIS affair; the October surprise; domestic call-boy—corruption rings; the Panama invasion, and the two Iraq wars. Note: Most people who read the following will find it extremely disturbing, since it shakes our confidence in our basic institutions and leaders. However, I believe that the material below is accurate. It represents a distillation of many books and web references which, though written independently by credible researchers, corroborate each other. Although I have footnoted many of the statements, I chose not to be even more comprehensive to make the document shorter and more readable. It is not enough to just document excesses, though. I plan another white paper to deal with correcting those excesses.1 Initially, two key remedies appear to be: Almost complete transparency in government, and declassification of almost everything over, say, 10 years old. Setting up independent review panels of any federal operations that have the capacity to commit, or allow, significant crimes. Decriminalization of drug possession and distribution. Drug money is funding almost all the illicit activities, and maintaining a web of corruption that is so pervasive that the entire government is dysfunctional2. 1 The revelations in this document are less than a few percent of that convincingly presented in the literature. -
Conservative Movement
Conservative Movement How did the conservative movement, routed in Barry Goldwater's catastrophic defeat to Lyndon Johnson in the 1964 presidential campaign, return to elect its champion Ronald Reagan just 16 years later? What at first looks like the political comeback of the century becomes, on closer examination, the product of a particular political moment that united an unstable coalition. In the liberal press, conservatives are often portrayed as a monolithic Right Wing. Close up, conservatives are as varied as their counterparts on the Left. Indeed, the circumstances of the late 1980s -- the demise of the Soviet Union, Reagan's legacy, the George H. W. Bush administration -- frayed the coalition of traditional conservatives, libertarian advocates of laissez-faire economics, and Cold War anti- communists first knitted together in the 1950s by William F. Buckley Jr. and the staff of the National Review. The Reagan coalition added to the conservative mix two rather incongruous groups: the religious right, primarily provincial white Protestant fundamentalists and evangelicals from the Sunbelt (defecting from the Democrats since the George Wallace's 1968 presidential campaign); and the neoconservatives, centered in New York and led predominantly by cosmopolitan, secular Jewish intellectuals. Goldwater's campaign in 1964 brought conservatives together for their first national electoral effort since Taft lost the Republican nomination to Eisenhower in 1952. Conservatives shared a distaste for Eisenhower's "modern Republicanism" that largely accepted the welfare state developed by Roosevelt's New Deal and Truman's Fair Deal. Undeterred by Goldwater's defeat, conservative activists regrouped and began developing institutions for the long haul. -

The “Great Meme War:” the Alt-Right and its Multifarious Enemies 1 The “Great Meme War:” the Alt- Right and its Multifarious Enemies Maxime Dafaure Memes and the metapolitics of the alt-right 1 The alt-right has been a major actor of the online culture wars of the past few years. Since it came to prominence during the 2014 Gamergate controversy,1 this loosely- defined, puzzling movement has achieved mainstream recognition and has been the subject of discussion by journalists and scholars alike. Although the movement is notoriously difficult to define, a few overarching themes can be delineated: unequivocal rejections of immigration and multiculturalism among most, if not all, alt- right subgroups; an intense criticism of feminism, in particular within the manosphere community, which itself is divided into several clans with different goals and subcultures (men’s rights activists, Men Going Their Own Way, pick-up artists, incels).2 Demographically speaking, an overwhelming majority of alt-righters are white heterosexual males, one of the major social categories who feel dispossessed and resentful, as pointed out as early as in the mid-20th century by Daniel Bell, and more recently by Michael Kimmel (Angry White Men 2013) and Dick Howard (Les Ombres de l’Amérique 2017). -

THE NEW SEDITIOUS LIBEL Judith Schenck Koffert & Bennett L Gershman t Let all men take heede how they complayne in wordes against any magistrate, for they are gods. -- Star Chamber saying You've just got to trust us. -Richard Helms, former CIA Director INTRODUCTION Seditious libel is the crime of criticizing the government. It trans- forms dissent, which the first amendment has traditionally been thought to protect, into heresy. Fundamentally antidemocratic, the distinguish- ing feature of seditious libel is, as its nomenclature suggests, injury to the reputation of government or its functionaries. Those who impugn au- thority's good image are diabolized and their criticisms punished as blasphemy. In this way, the doctrine lends a juristic mask to political repression. Seditious libel is alive and well despite attempts of judges and scholars to knock it on the head once and for all.' It is difficult to recog- nize, however, for it wears the mantle of official secrecy and waves the banner of national security. -

2016: the Year America Noticed Antisemitism Bruce Abramson & Jeff Ballabon* December 2016 Slandering Trump the 2016 Election Was Notable in More Than a Few Ways
2016: The Year America Noticed Antisemitism Bruce Abramson & Jeff Ballabon* December 2016 Slandering Trump The 2016 election was notable in more than a few ways. One of them was a heightened focus on the troubling rise of antisemitism in the United States—a phenomenon that has been evident throughout the Western world for at least the entirety of the twenty-first century. In 2016, however, the antisemites opened a new front. For the first time in decades, overt political antisemitism appeared on the national scene from forces who identified as part of America’s political right. Though small enough to qualify as a potentially troubling curiosity, these forces played a considerable role in the story that the mainstream press wanted to tell. The established media thus chose to downplay the tens of millions of decent, hardworking Americans rallying behind Donald Trump’s candidacy to focus obsessively on a fringe movement—that Trump repeatedly condemned—who took pride and joy in employing antisemitic images, languages, and memes, allegedly on his behalf. One media darling was the old-school white supremacist David Duke—a man whom the GOP has publicly rejected numerous times over the past few decades, including his moment of peak popularity in the early 1990s. Duke, despite reemerging as a media favorite upon announcing his support for Trump (support that, once again, Trump repeatedly repudiated), ran a dismal seventh in his 2016 bid for a Louisiana Senate seat—suggesting a far greater interest among America’s news editors and producers than among Louisiana’s voters. Another was the younger, more media savvy Richard Spencer, president of the National Policy Institute (NPI), “an independent organization dedicated to the heritage, identity, and future of people of European descent in the United States, and around the world.”1 Spencer, who had labored in inconsequential anonymity prior to 2016, understood that the path to notoriety was paved with Nazi symbolism—which he dutifully trotted out whenever the cameras were rolling. -
Willis Carto
Willis Carto This document is an archived copy of an older ADL report and may not reflect the most current facts or developments related to its subject matter. INTRODUCTION Willis Carto has been one of the most influential American anti-Semitic propagandists of the past 50 years. Since emerging as a right-wing organizer in San Francisco in the early 1950s, he has been associated with nearly every significant far-right movement in the country, from neo-Nazism to militias, segregationism to Holocaust denial. Known for his reclusiveness, he has founded and overseen from behind the scenes an intricate network of bigotry whose outlets have included Liberty and Property, Western Destiny, the Noontide Press, American Mercury, National Youth Alliance, the Institute for Historical Review, the Populist Party and, most notably, Liberty Lobby. In 2001, both Carto and Liberty Lobby were bankrupted after Carto lost a long court battle with the Institute for Historical Review (which broke with him in 1993). His editorial staff at Liberty Lobby's now-defunct Spotlight, the most widely read publication on the fringe right, resumed publication under the title American Free Press in August 2001, however. And while Carto is in his 70s and financially constrained, his energy for purveying paranoia and hatred appears to be undiminished. Year of birth: 1926 Headquarters: Washington, D.C. (Carto's home is in Escondido, California) Ideology: Anti-Semitism, racial determinism, conspiratorial anti-government, Holocaust denial Background: Carto has founded and been involved with dozens of far-right organizations and front groups. These include: Congress of Freedom, Liberty and Property, Liberty Lobby, John Birch Society, National Youth Alliance, Institute for Historical Review, Populist Party Publications: Defunct: Right, Western Destiny, Liberty Letter, Washington Observer, American Mercury, The Spotlight, IHR Newsletter, Journal for Historical Review. -
American Neoconservatism
American Neoconservatism Pascal Fischer Executive Summary When George W. Bush was re-elected president, if not earlier, neoconservatism took over in the United States. This, at least, is the impression you are bound to get from reading some German papers. Aggressiveness in American foreign policy and ,cowboy‘ capitalism are two characteristics of the ,neocons‘, facets that are symbolic of what ,we Europeans‘ reject. By now, the term neoconservatism is used in such an inflationary and arbitrary way that its meaning is close to lost. According to Jakob Schissler, it is ,used to describe any and all manifestations of current conservatism in the United States‘. Neoconservatism has become a bogey, although many people hardly know what it is about. Therefore, understanding the facts of the matter is necessary, and looking at some definitions is useful. According to the Oxford English Dictionary, the term ,neoconservatism‘ first appeared in 1960, meaning a new kind of conservatism. However, a neoconservative also is someone who has newly joined the conservatives. In this case, it is not the idea that is new, but the people who support it. Nathan Glazer says: ,The definition of a neoconservative is someone who wasn’t a conservative‘. Irving Kristol even sees the neoconservative as a liberal who has been ambushed by reality. Norman Podhoretz contradicts Kristol, saying that some of the leading neoconservatives had for-merly been radicals, not liberals. Frank Rieger, however, regards neoconservatism as ,one form of fragmentation in liberalism‘. And, finally, Daniel Patrick Moynihan perceives himself and his fellows as ,good Catholics who were excommunicated and who said, finally, OK, we’re Protestants‘. -

Open Letter to Maricopa County Maricopa County Recorder Stephen Richer
1 Dear Arizona Republicans: Let’s do this right. Let’s build confidence. Let’s move forward. August 19, 2021 Stephen Richer Maricopa County Recorder OPEN LETTER TO MARICOPA COUNTY MARICOPA COUNTY RECORDER STEPHEN RICHER 2 I didn't want to be in the spotlight. Truly. I ran on the platform of making the “Maricopa County Recorder's Office Boring Again.” I sought to competently, fairly, lawfully, and quietly manage the three duties of this office: public recordings, voter registration, and election administration. To that end, I declined every media opportunity upon taking office on January 4 until May 14, 2021. But I am human. If you prick me, I bleed. And if you consistently defame me and the people in my office, I eventually fight back. And that’s exactly what happened. Beginning on May 14, I started speaking out—on Twitter, on national TV, on local TV, on national radio, on local radio, in published articles, at public hearings, and at public events. I’ve set the record straight about the 2020 election, the hardworking people of Maricopa County, and me. I stand by everything I’ve said over the past three months. But prior to this report, I hadn’t told my full story. If this is self-indulgent, forgive me. I largely agree, but many people have asked me why I’m doing what I’m doing, so here it is.1 Section 1: The November 2020 Election Wasn’t Stolen Nobody stole Maricopa County’s election. Elections in Maricopa County aren’t rigged. Governor Doug Ducey agrees.2 Former Republican Governor Jan Brewer agrees.3 Republican Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich agrees,4 and his office has an election integrity unit that presumably receives all evidence of widespread fraud.
