TEAM STATS TEAM NOTES The Avalanche’s eight goals are its most since scoring nine on Nov. 7, 2019 vs. Nashville. It’s Avalanche the 13th time since the franchise moved to Denver that the Avs have scored 8+ goals in a regu- lar-season game. The Avalanche is the seventh player in franchise history and the fourth in Avalanche history to reach the 200-goal Power Play: 0-4 milestone. He joins Nikita Kucherov (221) as the only members of the 2011 NHL class to reach that threshold. Penalty Kill: 1-7 Mikko Rantanen notched the 100th goal of his career. He becomes the fifth player from the 2015 Faceoffs: 51% NHL Draft class to reach 100, joining Connor McDavid (165), Jack Eichel (137), Sebastian Aho (121), (106).

Nathan MacKinnon’s third-period tally was the 57th power-play goal of his career, moving him into a tie with Peter Forsberg for sixth on the franchise’s all-time list.

Philipp Grubauer registered his 12th career shutout, six of which have come with the Avalanche. Grubauer also registered his second career assist.

Cale Makar finished with three points (0g/3a), the fourth time in his career he has tallied 3+ points and third time he’s registered 3+ assists.

Andre Burakovsky has scored in each of Colorado’s first two games, the first time in his career he has scored in consecutive games to begin a season. Both of Burakovsky’s goals have come on the power-play, matching his career high for man advantage goals in a season (4x - last: 2019-20 season).

Devon Toews finished with two points (1g/1a), his first in an Avalanche uniform. It was the fifth multi-point game of his career.
