Team conducted an extensive search of the high risk area's with no success. SAR located the subject in good condition. 22 15:39 SWE INLAND 1 5 1 5 Ridge Meadows SAR members responded 210522 WATER following report of an injured jet-skier involved in an accident on the Pitt River. SAR was stood down when BCAS reported that the subject was with them after making it to the shore. 22 17:07 SWE LAND 2 10 2 10 Lions Bay SAR members assisted by the North 210523 Shore Rescue HETS team responded to rescue two stuck hikers on Mt Hanover, outside of Lions Bay. The subjects were extracted successfully via helicopter and delivered to safety. 22 20:44 SWE LAND 1 10 1 10 North Shore Rescue members responded to a 210524 hiker in distress on the Hanes Valley Trail. The subject was hoisted out by SAR and passed to the RCMP for transport to his vehicle. 22 21:44 CTL INLAND 4 4 Kelowna Marine Rescue members responded to 210525 WATER a vessel in distress on Okanagan Lake off Rotary Park in Kelowna. Team searched reported UPDATE area and were unable to locate any evidence linked to the subject and incident has been stood down again pending new information forthcoming. 23 19:04 SWE LAND 1 18 1 18 Sunshine Coast SAR members responded to 210528 rescue an injured mountain biker on the Elphinestone Mountain Trail outside of Gibsons. Subject was handed off to BCAS. 23 20:02 SWE LAND 1 7 1 7 North Shore Rescue members responded to a 210529 hiker with a suspected broken ankle at the quarter way mark at the Grouse Grind in . The hiker was provided with first aid and walked out with SAR team. 23 20:44 SWE LAND 1 3 1 3 North Shore Rescue members responded to a 210530 hiker and his dog stuck in a ravine off of Fisherman Trail in North Vancouver. The male was not located and the RCMP suspended the search pending further information. 23 21:50 SWE LAND 1 1 1 1 South Fraser SAR member was about to page 210532 team for a missing senior in South Surrey when he was advised she had been found alive and well and SAR was stood down. 23 22:03 VIR LAND 1 12 1 12 Rescue members responded to a 210533 hiker lost on Mt Anderson. SAR team located the hiker near the peak in good health and subject was able to hike out. 23 22:19 CTL LAND 3 17 3 17 Princeton SAR, Oliver/Osoyoos SAR, Central 210534 Okanagan SAR, Central Fraser Valley SAR and Nicola Valley SAR members responded to 3 overdue dirt bikers near Whipsaw Creek. SAR located the subjects and assisted them out of the area. 24 17:03 CTL INLAND 1 6 1 6 Penticton Marine Rescue and Naramata FD 210535 WATER members responded to rescue a kayaker in distress on Okanagan Lake. The subject was swimming with his kayak and not in need of a rescue. 24 16:33 CTL INLAND 2 9 2 9 Penticton Marine Rescue members responded to 210536 WATER rescue two distressed tubers in Skaha Lake. Fire brought the two tubers back to shore in their boat. 24 22:33 SWE LAND 1 7 1 7 Coquitlam SAR members responded to RCMP 210537 request to locate a subject with dementia who has walked away from her residence in . Subject was found alive and well and SAR was stood down. 24 20:11 SEA LAND 1 6 1 6 Cranbrook SAR members responded to BCAS 210538 request to rescue an injured female mountain biker on the Juniper Lane Trail. Subject was handed over to BCAS with an injured knee. 24 20:36 SWE LAND 1 20 1 20 Chilliwack SAR members responded to a 210539 despondent female in Cultus Lake Provincial Park and were stood down en route after RCMP located the subject. 24 21:05 CTL INLAND 3 8 3 8 Penticton Fire Rescue and Naramata Fire 210540 WATER Rescue members responded to boaters in distress on Okanagan Lake near the Lakeside Resort. Upon investigation, the subjects were not in distress and simply honking their boat horn. 24 22:30 SWE LAND 2 4 2 4 North Shore Rescue members responded to two 210541 subjects that were stuck in their Jeep near Cypress Mountain. RCMP found the subject safe and sound. 25 20:20 NEA LAND 1 9 1 9 South Cariboo SAR members responded to a 210547 missing subject in the Lac la Hache area and were stood down by RCMP as she was found at her home. 25 22:28 NEA LAND 1 4 1 4 Fort Nelson SAR members responded to a 210548 subject with a broken ankle. Fire confirmed no POB and boat was towed back to shore. 26 08:22 CTL INLAND 1 4 1 4 Shuswap Rescue 1 members responded to an 210550 WATER elderly woman who took a fall and possibly dislocated her shoulder in Seymour Arm. Subject was assisted by SAR and handed off to BCAS for transport to hospital. 26 09:16 SWE LAND 1 6 1 6 Whistler SAR members responded to an injured 210551 hiker that fell and hit their head and was experiencing decreased levels of consciousness near Iceberg Lake. The subject was located and handed over to BCAS. 26 10:30 SWE INLAND 1 9 1 9 Kent Harrison SAR members responded to a 210552 WATER possible drowning at Hicks Lake. SAR team was stood down as subject was located alive and well. 26 11:57 SWE LAND 4 18 4 18 Ridge Meadows SAR and Coquitlam SAR 210553 members responded to 3 injured hikers and 1 subject with heat stroke in Golden Ears Park. The 4 subjects were extracted and sent to hospital. 26 12:18 CTL LAND 1 5 1 5 Oliver-Osoyoos SAR members responded to a 210554 report of a vehicle over a cliff on McKinney Road. SAR stood down en route when the subject was confirmed to have safety returned to the road. 26 12:44 SWE LAND 2 10 2 10 Chilliwack SAR members responded to 2 210555 injured subjects who rolled over a 100 ft embankment with an ATV near the Vedder River. SAR team was stood down as subject made it out to the parking lot and was with BCAS. 26 15:08 NWE LAND 2 3 2 3 Kitimat SAR members responded to two lost 210559 hiker in the Coho Flats area. The hiker and a witness were located by RCMP and SAR was stood down. 26 16:51 SEA INLAND 1 33 1 33 South Columbia SAR and Rossland SAR 210561 WATER members responded to a missing swimmer in Champion Lakes in Trail. GSAR conducted a complete search of the area yielding negative results. Subject brought back to shore and released. 26 20:21 VIR LAND 1 11 1 11 Juan de Fuca SAR members responded to 210566 assist a woman who fell into a ravine at Bear Beach on the Juan De Fuca Trail. Subject was located and handed over to BCAS. 26 22:45 VIR LAND 2 4 2 4 Comox Valley SAR members responded to a 210567 SOS beacon in the Ucluelet area. Subjects were located and returned to their vehicle in good condition. 27 11:28 SWE LAND 1 4 1 4 Whistler SAR members responded to female in 210572 distress at the Taylor Meadows Campground in Garibaldi Provincial Park. A good samaritan brought water up to the subject who then walked themselves out to safety. 27 18:17 VIR INLAND 1 12 1 12 Campbell River SAR members responded to an 210576 WATER overdue kayaker in the Buttle Lake area. RCMP Air 8 located subject and brought them out to safety. 27 21:14 NWE INLAND 1 10 1 10 Terrace SAR members responded to a possible 210577 WATER drowning victim in Lakelse Lake. The child was located by friends and family in good condition. SAR was stood down. DANGEROUS GOODS

On 21 June, a tanker carrying 10,000 Litres of asphalt sealant rolled over near Blacktail Road, east of Osoyoos. An unknown amount of product was spilled to ground. No waterways were affected. The incident was raised to Code 2 (urgent status) by the MOE RO but was downgraded to Code 1 overnight.

On 22 June, an industrial fire at a recycling plant on Crown Road, Columbia Gardens, east of Trail. was reported to have started the previous evening. Smoke from potentially toxic materials was released and polluted water run off migrated beyond the facility but remained on the site. The MOE RO raised the incident to Code 2 status for notification purposes with an immediate downgrade to Code 1
