 Why is the recorded video in 720p while my PS4’s input source is set to 1080i or 1080p?

Because the ER130 records according to the resolution of its input source and can't make any alterations. All games have their own native resolutions, so if your game has a native resolution of 720p, then the ER130 will only receive 720p.

 Why is there no image after I disabled HDCP on my PS4?

Unplug and replug the HDMI cable and image will reappear.

 Does the ER130 support PS3, Xbox Dolby 5.1 and 24p video format?

Unfortunately, the ER130 can’t record Dolby 5.1 (channel) or 24p video format. Go to your console settings and change the audio to Auto to ensure proper output format (dual-channel PCM ). Please note that you can still pass through Dolby 5.1 and 24p signal while the ER130 is off.

 How do I fix the poor performance problem or recorded had a video issue?

We would recommend using a USB 3.0 or hard storage device instead of a thumb drive due to the writing speed performance issue.

 What do I do if the recording can't be stopped

1. Please confirm the firmware version update to date. 2. Please switch other storage devices accomplish the request below: (1). We would recommend a steady 10 MB/s writing speed storage device (2). NTFS format in MBR partition table is required (3). USB hubs, card readers, FAT format, NAS or HDDs over 2 TB capacity are not supported

Can I use both 2TB Internal HD & 2TB External HD connected at the same time?

Recording stops when the ER130 detects extremely poor write performance from your storage device. It’s recommended that you use a NTFS-formatted hard drive.

The ER130 only supports single timed recording – Timer Recording, which can be set to record 1 Time (for one time event) or Daily (for same time on daily basis). If you want to record HD content from your TV setup box via HDMI, it will have to depend on whether it is HDCP protected; HDCP protected content can’t be recorded.
