WARWICK CASE STUDY ANWENDUNGSBERICHT: Warwick setzt auf das KnowHow der unicam Software GmbH und benutzt Mastercam Router im 5 Achsen Fräsen. Die Geschichte der Firma Warwick begann in Pretzfeld/ Oberfranken. Hier gründete Hans-Peter Wilfer am 13. September 1982 im Alter von 24 Jahren mit zwei Gitarrenbauern die Firma Warwick. Sein Handwerk erlernte er von seinem Vater, Fred Andreas Wilfer, der in den 50er, 60er und 70er Jahren mit Ins- trumenten der Marke Framus weltweites Renommee erlangte. Die Kunden reichen von Bekannten Rockgrößen wie Robert Trujillo(Metallica), Adam Clayton (U2),John Entwistle (The Who) bis hin zu dem Musiker der bei Ihnen um die Ecke wohnt. Das Unternehmen wuchs kontinuierlich, sodass 1995 die Produktion nach Markneukirchen in Sachsen verlagert wurde. Mit dem Neuaufbau des Unternehmens konnte H.P. Wilfer seinen Traum verwirklichen, die Synthese aus handwerklichem Instrumentenbau und modernsten Technologien. Diese weltweit einzigartige Kombination aus Handwerkskunst und inovativerTechnik hat es Warwick ermöglicht, Instrumente mit Passion und höchster Präzision zu produzieren. Um seine Projektziele am besten zu erreichen, setzte das Unternehmen das CAD/CAM System von Mastercam aufgrund dessen Bedienungsfreundlichkeit, Geschwindigkeit und Leistungsvermögen ein. Dank Mastercam konnte Warwick seinen Produktionszyklus individuell gestalten, die Entwicklungskosten senken und die Produkte schneller zur Marktreife bringen. All das führte zu vielen Erstbestellungen sowie einem wesentlichen Anteil im Markt.
