Framus & Warwick Open Day 2014
Be there on September 6th, 2014 when superstars from all over the world gather at the Framus & Warwick Campus in Markneukirchen, Germany to celebrate with you an unforgettable day of concerts, Meet and Greets, Factory Tours and much, much more!
Gitarre & Bass magazine will open the day at 10:00. You can register for Factory Tours by sending an email to [email protected]. The spots will be full soon! So don´t wait for too long! You can shop at the flea market for blemished items or the Custom Shop for perfection and then have a BBQ and get a drink at the Jägermeister Truck!

The day concludes with the resurrection of Mass Mental. What do mega groups Metallica and Skindred have in common? Mass Mental! The all star, all monster group was founded by Metallica’s Robert Trujillo formerly of Suicidal Tendencies and Skindred singer Clive “Benji” Webbe, formerly of Dub War. Also in the band since the beginning is Warwick Artist Armand Sabal-Lecco whose list of credits includes Stanley Clarke and Sting. In 1999 the band released “How to Write Love Songs”, along with the live album “Live in Tokyo”. Both albums were released exclusively in Japan. Shortly thereafter the band broke up, allowing the band members to return to their main projects. In 2002, Mass Mental reunited briefly with Roy Mayorga playing drums, although no new material resulted. Still, Robert Trujillo never really lost sight of his “baby”. Now Mass Mental has found its way back together and will be performing an exclusive reunion concert at Warwick HQ in Markneukirchen, Germany.

13:00 - 14:00 Siyou‘n‘Hell Bass legend Hellmut Hattler (Kraan, Tab Two, Hattler), renowned for his distinctive, powerful bass playing joins Singer Siyou (Siyou Gospel Project) in a duo of almost telepathic intimacy: Siyou'n'Hell.
14:15 - 14:45 The Wootens: Victor, Regi & Adam Experience iconic bass legend Victor Wooten in a live family jam with brother and Framus Artist Regi Wooten and Victor’s son Adam on drums!
15:00 - 16:00 Dave Roe Dave Roe (Johnny Cash, Jerry Reed, Faith Hill) Warwick Artist and famous Nashville session bassist mixes rock, country, soul and prog surf, all blended together into a big steamy mess!
16:20 - 17:20 Neil Taylor Guitarist Neil Taylor (Tears For Fears, Robbie Williams, Rod Stewart) delivers a musical feast - relying on his glorious past as axe-man for rock’s greatest. On bass is Warwick Artist Gwenael Damman (Christina Stürmer).
17:45 - 19:15 Mass Mental Warwick presents a once in a lifetime experience! Mass Mental, a monster of a band reunites some major superstars for a very special concert! (Rob Trujillo - Bass Guitar (Metallica), Benji Webbe - Lead Vocals (Skindred), Armand Sabal-Lecco - Bass Guitar (Stanley Clarke), Ken Schalk - Drums (Candiria) with special guest: Whit Crane - Lead Vocals (Ugly Kid Joe)
19:45 - 21:00 Nik West Band Bassist, singer and songwriter Nik West (Dave Stewart, Prince, John Mayer) is bringing her funk groovement to the Open Day stage.
This will be a burning show and the evening will stay hot as the Open Day VIP Party rocks on into the wee hours! VIP customers, Bass Camp students, Framus & Warwick Artists and 50 guests (via Facebook Ticket drawing) will experience more music and fireworks which will be the crowning conclusion of the 2014 Bass Camp and Open Day!
