The other Gold is aspiring to slaty European Judged: 46 complexity. Someone had a good crack at off-dry but needs a bit more drive. Some green and some dilute wines reflects the challenging season. Rain rain go away. The fresh Prince sits on the throne. Boom Boom shake the room.

Best wines showed varietal, typicity, concentration Judged: 32 and balance. Lower scoring wines relied on residual sugar for appeal rather than fruit concentration. Very high acidity and herbal notes may reflect the vintage conditions.

Searing acid made some wines too Judged: 50 hard, gentle acid or some fruit to flesh it out made the top wines shine.
