Rugged Construction Hayward’s TBB Series Industrial True Union Ball Valves are cost effective, yet rugged enough to stand up to demanding industrial and commercial applications. True Union Design This makes these valves very easy to maintain by allowing for easy removal from a piping system without breaking down piping connections. Just unscrew the two assembly nuts and lift the body out of the line. Advanced Design Features TBB Series True Union Ball Valves are superior performers. They have a threaded seal carrier that allows the seat to be adjusted while mantaining downstream presssure. These valves feature a dovetail ball and stem, and a thick double o-ring stem seal for twice the leakage protection of valves with only a single stem seal. Actuator Mounting Design For actuator mounting, the valve incorporates a unique design of two holes in the stem body that allows the actuator mounting bracket to mount directly to the valve without the need for glued or clamped-on mounting pads. This assures proper alignment of the Features Options actuator to the valve without creating any damaging side loads to cause premature • Full Port Design • Stem Extensions stem seal failure. With this design, the valve can easily be adapted to manual operation – • Easy Maintenance • Lockouts should the need ever arise. • FPM or EPDM Seals • 2˝ Square Operating Nuts • Easily Automated • Drilled Balls for Sodium Never a Problem • Double O-Ring Stem Seals Hypochlorite Service with Corrosion Because of the valves’ all construction, • Adjustable Seat Retainer they will never rust or corrode – and they can survive corrosive environments without the need for painting or expensive epoxy coating.

Features such as Santoprene (TPV) seats, full porting and a 150 PSI pressure rating are all standard on every size compact ball valve. Cost-Sensitive Applications This compact ball valve is perfect for OEM and other applications that require a reliable ball valve at an economical price. This compact ball valve has been designed and tested to make certain it will perform year in and year out in the most demanding applications without leakage or failure. The internal components of a compact ball valve are completely encapsulated within the valve body in a one-step manufacturing process. There is absolutely no danger of leakage through assembled parts. This also means that the valve never requires adjustment since all internal components are sealed inside the one-piece valve body. This compact ball valve is ready to be put into service right out of the box. Lightweight and Compact Compact ball valves are designed to fit into spaces too small for other valves. They are about 1/3 the overall size of a plastic true union valve and they weigh an average of 50% less. This makes them ideal for skid- mounted and other applications where space and weight are critical considerations. Features Options True Union Design • Rated at a Full 150 PSI • True Union This makes these valves very easy to End Connections maintain by allowing for easy removal from • Santoprene (TPV) Seats a piping system without breaking down • EPDM Seals piping connections. Just unscrew the two • No Internal Parts to Replace assembly nuts and lift the valve body out • Easy 1/4-Turn Operation of the line. • Perfect for OEM Applications Can’t Rust, Won’t Corrode • Socket or Threaded Pipe Their all-plastic construction means they will never fail, stick, or jam because of rusted or Connections corroded parts. And they'll work in places and environments where metal valves must be painted or coated just to survive.

They are ideal where backflow could potentially cause damage to pumps, filters, or process equipment. Automatic Operation TCB Series True Union Ball Check Valves operate without the need for any adjustments or settings. Line pressure moves the solid plastic ball off the elastomer seat, opening the valve. When the inlet flow stops, back pressure moves the ball back onto the seat – stopping the flow. Additionally, this valve features a unique square-cut elastomer seat to seal at low back . True Union Design Our ball features a true union design. This allows for easy removal from a piping system without breaking down piping connections. Just unscrew the two assembly nuts and lift the valve body out of the line. No Corrosion Failures Because of their all-plastic construction, these valves will never jam or stick as a result of rust or corrosion. Also they will not contaminate sensitive fluids that come into contact with them.

They can also be used for high purity and sanitary applications. Manual or Automated Available in manual or actuated (pneumatic or electric) models, the valves can be used for on/off and throttling service, feature a multi-turn design for precise control, and are self-draining on one side so that little to no dead volume remains in the valve. Standard material choices for the valve’s body include PVC, CPVC, PVDF and PPL. Each are available with EPDM, FPM or PTFE diaphragms, allowing service in a wide range of applications. Superior Design, Superior Performance The valve controls flow by varying the space between a stationary weir and a moveable flexible diaphragm. By compressing the diaphragm against the weir, all flow is shut off. The only wetted components are the lower half of the valve body and the diaphragm. The diaphragm’s stroke adjustment feature allows precise “tweaking” of diaphragm movement for very precise flow control. A large, sure-grip handwheel makes it easy to open or close the valve, and a beacon-type indicator provides highly visible position indication at the top of the Features Options valve’s rising stem. • Position Indicator • Electric, Pneumatic Connection Options • Sure-Grip Handwheel Actuation to 4˝ Connection options include molded-in • Choice of EPDM, FPM, • Over 4˝ Actuation, ANSI flanges and ASTM True Union socket PTFE Diaphragms Consult Factory end connectors. • Rated to 150 PSI • True Union End Connections • PVDF Vapor Barrier

Easy Tank Connections Hayward’s BFA Series Industrial Bulkhead Fittings (Tank Adapters) easily permit safe, quick pipe connections to be made to plastic, metal or plastic tanks. Simply cut the proper size opening in the tank, slide the body of the fitting through it, and then just tighten the nut. The fitting is now ready to accept the piping connection.

Rugged Design BFA Series Bulkhead Fittings have been designed to stand up to the most demanding applications without leaking – year in and year out. These bulkhead fittings are molded with an extremely heavy wall thickness and will withstand most abuse without failure.

Leak Protection All sizes of BFA Series Bulkhead Fittings come standard with heavy duty full buttress threads to help prevent leaks under pressure. These full buttress threads are substantially stronger than the standard threads on ordinary bulkhead fittings.

Easy Installation The Bulkhead Fitting has been designed so Features Options that only one person is needed to install it, not two, unlike other ordinary bulkhead • Left-Hand Threads • Ready Flanges for fittings. A special hex shape on the body end of the fitting allows it to be gripped from • Rated to 150 PSI Making Flanged outside the tank while the nut is tightened. • EPDM or FPM Connections to Tanks Gasket Seal Can’t Rust, Won’t Corrode • Hex Body for One These all-plastic bulkhead fittings will never Person Installation fail due to rust or corrosion. • Full Buttress Threads
