I had not one but two types of cancers. After doing my research and consulting with doctors all over the world, I learned that Fred Hutch was the place to be.

A Fred Hutch researcher performed genetic sequencing on my tumor and discovered an unusual mutation that impacts only 6 percent of prostate cancer patients. He suggested a drug that is used to treat a similiar mutation in lung and skin cancer. So far it has worked! My prostate cancer is now undetectable.

One of STG’s core values is to serve as stewards of Seattle’s historic Paramount, Moore, and Neptune Theatres, and part of our commitment to keeping these spaces healthy and vibrant is to welcome a new generation of visitors and patrons to experience their magic firsthand. That’s why STG is proud to offer free Historic Theatres Tours, led by members of our well-versed volunteer staff.

“Over 450,000 patrons pass through the doors of The Paramount each year. These free tours give the public a chance to learn more about this historic Theatre while giving them a glimpse behind the scenes.” - Josh LaBelle, Executive Director of Seattle Theatre Group

Tours of the Paramount Theatre take place on the first Saturday of every month and guests should meet in front of the main entrance, on the corner of 9th and Pine. Tours of the Moore Theatre are the second Saturday of every month and guests should meet in front of the main entrance, on the corner of 2nd and Virginia. Neptune Tours are the third Saturday of every month and guests should meet in front of the main entrance, on the corner of NE 45th St. & Brooklyn Ave. All tours begin at 10 a.m.

Additionally, Seattle Theatre Group is able to schedule tours upon request for student groups ages 7 and up. This is an excellent way for students to experience the technical aspects of the stage, take a behind-the-scenes look at backstage operations, and get an introduction to the history of the building.

For more information on STG’s Historic Theatre Tours, and to access virtual tours of the Paramount, Moore, and Neptune, please visit STGPresents.org/tours Bob Cerelli on this page by photos
