Suresh Roy of Purba Babu Para, Ps- Naxalbari, Dist- Darjeeling lodged a written complaint to effect that on 31.07.2014 one unknown person dishonestly changed his ATM card from Central Bank of India, Naxalbari ATM Counter and subsequently withdrawn Rs. 2,10,000/- from SBI Bank A/C No. 31742805911.On the basis the above noted case was started. During investigation the accused person was identified from the CCTV footage of Central Bank Naxalbari Branch ATM counter. On 23.02.2015 in between 17.15 hrs to 19.05 Inspector Sarbari Bhattacharya of AHTU, CID, WB along with officers & force of AHTU section held reid to work out a credible information a brothel is running at a road side hotel cum brothel situated at Terepekhya village, Khirishtala near Mahishadal Hospital more, Ps. Mahisadal, Dist. Purba Medinipur for commercial sexual exploitation trade engaging young girls who has been procured from different places of West Bengal. During raid eight accused persons where arrested and eight victim girls (four of them are minor) were rescued. The following eight accused were arrested from the said Hotel :

a). Fazlu Sheikh @ Mistri (54) S/o Late Sheikh Rustam of Vill + PO- Madhya Hinglee, Ps- Mahishadal, Dist- Purba Medinipur. b). Pradip Bhowmick (26) S/o Late. Amal Bhowmick of Vill + PO- Bhajitpur, Dakhinpally, Ps- Sutahata , Dist- Purba Medinipur. c). Ashish Haldar (34) S/o Saboorali Haldar of House of Bablu Sheikh,Village- Terrapekhya, Ps- Mahishadal, Dist- Purba Medinipur. d). Aisha Haldar @ Ashima (27) W/o Ashish Haldar of Vill- Nazra Haldar Para, PO- Nazira, Ps- Usthi, Dist- South 24 Parganas. e). Farida Bibi @ Priya (28) W/o Sheikh Zakir Hossain of Vill- Paramhansapur, PO + Ps- Nandakumar, Dist- Purba Medinipur. f). Ujjala Mondal @ Basanti (37) W/o Sadhan Mondal of Vill + PO- Lakshiya, Babuhat, Ps- Mahishadal, Dist- Purba Medinipur. g). Ballav Quila (39) S/o Late Bijoy Krishna Quila of Vill- Baka Gazipur, Quila Polly, PO- Purba Shirampur, Ps- Mahishadal, Dist- Purba Medinipur. h). Pravash Mikap @ Babu (22) s/o Nabakanta Mikap of Vill- Ichapur, PO- Bayenta, Ps- Bhupatinagar, Dist- Purba Medinipur.

Over the Suo-moto complaint of Sarbari Bhattacharya, Inspector of Police, AHTU, CID W.B, the above noted case has been started against eight arrested accused persons and the owners of the Hotel. In anticipation order of Superior, Inspector Swapan Bhowmick, AHTU, CID WB took up its investigation.

2. Ref:- Farakka Ps Case No.-34/15 Dt.-17.02.2015 U/S-489B/489C/120B IPC

On 17.02.2015 based on a secret information SI Sougata Ghosh along with other Officer and force of SOG, CID, WB held raid at Farakka Statiom more and arrested the accesed persons namely 1) Sk Morsalim (23) S/o Lt. Jamshed Ali of Vill- Ghera Bhagbanpur, Ps- Baishnanagar, Dist- Malda. 2) Mehedi Hasan (24) S/o Jamadar Sk of Vill + PO- Jainpur, Ps- Baisnabnagar,Dist.- Malda while they came to Farakka for dealing in FICNs with the agents,Total Rs. 4,00000/- FICN of denomination of Rs.500/- x 600 Pcs and Rs.1000/- x 100 Pcs were seized from their possession at Farakka Station more. In this regard the above noted case was started.
