P. No. 7255 (W)/2000 which was duly upheld by the Hon’be Supreme Court of India in S.L.P(C) No.4260 of 2002 (Sri Badal chandra Mondal – VS. – The State of West Bengal & Ors.). The Secretary WBSEB is requested to disconnect the electricity of the following units till 31st May, 2007. The Superintendent of Police, Dist. - Hooghly is requested to take necessary action for proper execution of the order Concerned District Land & Land Reform Officer are requested not to issue “Consent- to-Operate” to the following brick fields in question during the period of February to May pending further instruction in this regard.
