Social media users have begun sharing photo comparisons of the Democratic candidate to point out supposed 'physical differences' in the Clinton that was seen emerging from her daughter Chelsea Clinton's house after the medical episode. Video of Clinton collapsing as she climbed into a van after visiting the National September 11 Memorial & Museum in New York City sparked health concerns. The 68-year-old, who later announced she is suffering from pneumonia, insisted she did not faint but simply felt dizzy and stumbled. She said after sitting in the air conditioning and drinking a glass of water she 'immediately' began feeling better and felt well enough to take a detour to visit her daughter Chelsea and her grandchildren. However, critics say the woman who emerged from Chelsea’s apartment was a lookalike and not the real deal. Spot the difference? Social media users claim Hillary Clinton's nose, earlobes, fingers and weight all appeared different after she emerged from her daughter Chelsea's house on Sunday (left). One woman said: ‘Body double before & after #ClintonCollapse? Just a theory, but nose looks very different.’ Others analysed Clinton’s ears and claimed the woman who emerged from Chelsea's apartment had chunkier lobes. Some compared pictures of the presidential hopeful that appear to show she had lost weight compared to earlier in the campaign. It is likely that someone suffering from pneumonia would appear frailer than usual. Conspiracy theorists have claimed Clinton's nose normally points upwards (right) but was pointing down on Sunday (left) This Twitter user posted a photo of Clinton on Sunday compared with a previous day to show an apparent 'difference' in her appearance Twitter user Robertbirsinger questioned why Clinton would hug a child in the street when she’s got such an illness and others claimed it was suspicious that she wasn’t surrounded by security when she emerged from Chelsea’s apartment. The hashtag #isHillaryalive also began circulating after the comparison photos emerged. Clinton's campaign has desperately attempted to stem any concerns around her health. Robertbirsinger tweeted that Clinton would not 'hug a child' with pneumonia Clinton was seen smiling and waving at customers at a nearby restaurant before getting into a van. Conspiracy theorists questioned why she would hug a young girl if she was sick One woman claimed that the woman who left Chelsea's apartment couldn't have been Hillary because she wasn't surrounded by 'secret service' agents Clinton emerged from her daughter Chelsea's apartment after she was rushed from the 9/11 memorial service because of a 'medical episode' +11 The 68-year-old greeted people with a smile as she walked down the street. She recently said she had been suffering from allergy attacks since Labor Day and had upped her antihistamine dosage One Twitter said the smiling Clinton to emerge on Sunday was 'too young, too thin' Bill Clinton announced he was taking over for his wife at several upcoming events as she recovers, and will now headline the Hillary Victory Fund events in California on Tuesday. He will also campaign in Nevada on Hillary's behalf on Wednesday. He told CBS News' Charlie Rose on Monday that his wife had suffered the same symptoms in the past when she's become exhausted. 'Rarely, on more than one occasion, over the last many, many years, the same sort of thing's happened to her when she got severely dehydrated, and she's worked like a demon, as you know, as secretary of state, as a senator, and in the years since,' he told the journalist. 'She'd had two and a half hard days before the day when she got dizzy,' he added. One skeptic said the person who appeared outside Chelsea's apartment 'has skinny legs and torso' This analytical approach appears to focus on the size of Clinton's earlobes before and after her 'medical episode' Supporting his wife, he said: 'Today she made a decision which I think was correct to cancel her campaign day to take one more day to rest.' Asked if it's possible Clinton will be away for weeks from the campaign trail, the former President said: 'No, not a shot.' Meanwhile, Clinton said on Sunday she now hopes to 'get this over and done with and get back on the trail as soon as possible.' 'Thanks to everyone who's reached out with well wishes! I'm feeling fine and getting better,' said a tweet marked with an 'H' for Hillary. She said in a follow-up message, 'Like anyone who's ever been home sick from work, I'm just anxious to get back out there. See you on the trail soon.' The courts, as a lagging indicator, reveal this longstanding catastrophic equilibrium. Following an examination of class struggle ‘from above’, in this paper I trace how digital media instruments are used by different factions within the capitalist ruling class to capture and maintain the commanding heights of the American social structure. Using this hegemony, I argue that one can see the prospect of American Caesarism being institutionally entrenched via judicial appointments at the Supreme Court of the United States and other circuit courts. This thesis presents the first network analysis of relationships between federal political committees (n = 2,077) and the companies they hired for electoral digital political advertising services (n = 1,034) across 13 years (2003–2016) and three election cycles (2008, 2012, and 2016). The network expanded from 333 nodes in 2008 to 2,202 nodes in 2016. In 2012 and 2016, Facebook and Google had the highest normalized betweenness centrality (.34 and .27 in 2012 and .55 and .24 in 2016 respectively). Given their positions in the network, Facebook and Google should be considered consequential members of party networks. Of advertising agencies hired in the 2016 electoral cycle, 23% had no declared political specialization and were hired disproportionately by non-incumbents. Magleby The 2016 election had both continuity and change in how it was financed and in the under lying dynamics of the election. When mea sured in dollars raised and spent, the gap between nominees Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump was the greatest in any election since the era of more reliable reporting began in 1976. The gap between Clin- ton and her joint party fundraising committees and Trump and his joint party fundraising committees was more than $285 million. Given this disparity, how Donald Trump financed and ran his cam- paign was dif fer ent from other candidates in his ability to exploit free media coverage, his limited fundraising in the nomination phase, and his claims that his opponents in both the nomination and general election phases of the contest were corrupted by their donors. The financing of Trump’s campaign became more conventional in the general election, where he relied heavi ly on a joint fundraising agreement with his party, used their voter mobilization infrastructure, successfully tapped into contributions from small donors, and benefited from spending by Super PACs and nonprofit groups late in the campaign.
