Former Division I wres- tler Ollie Cooperwood is in his third season with the Shippensburg University wrestling program as an assistant coach. Cooperwood earned a bachelor’s degree in May 2009 from Lock Haven University after earning two varsity letters with the Bald Eagle wrestling program. On the mat, Cooperwood began his scholastic wres- tling career at Maple Heights High School in Ohio where he was a conference and sectional champion as well as a state placewinner. In June of 2001, Cooper- wood enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and specialized in Force Reconnaissance.
