Bravely led by their mother, the cubs must make the perilous 400-mile voyage to the sea to feed. Encountering many dangers and adventures along the way — marauding male bears ready to kill, extreme weather, Arctic foxes, walruses, narwhal whales, snowdrifts and ice cracks — they undertake an epic survival challenge. These cubs are rarely seen in their natural habitat, and this is a unique glimpse into their world.

288 Supporter Spotlight Hayley G. Boling

It is with great pleasure WNIT recognizes Hayley Boling. In addition to being the CEO of Boling Vision Center and INSIGHT Surgery Center, a young business leader and philanthropist, Hayley is a Directors’ Circle member and the Board Secretary for WNIT. Upon having the firsthand experience of adopting her sister, Ronisha, Hayley recognized the importance of having a childhood filled with great education, opportunity, and a supportive family. She believes every child should have these experiences to develop a love for learning. Public television’s focus on early childhood learning makes this possible for children and this is why she loves and supports our mission. Along with running two organizations and volunteering with several nonprofits, Hayley has found a true passion for helping others, especially young children. She and her sister, Ashley, co-founded The Elkhart Education Foundation to help fill budgetary gaps for students. Her most recent involvement has been launching the Kindness to Prevent Blindness program that will send out a mobile unit offering free eye exams and glasses for 4,000 students by the end of 2018. Hayley truly lives by her life motto of taking care of business while taking care of hearts! WNIT thanks Hayley for her dedication to our mission and for her unwavering support of our community. Directors’ Circle The WNIT Directors’ Circle represents a very dedicated and select group of individuals who, by their commitment, contribute to the total annual support which is the foundation of WNIT’s operating budget. These essential annual contributions make possible the great programs that everyone in Michiana enjoys..
