Connie Somers has worked with DCER for more than 25+ years. There isn’t too many people who don’t know who Connie Somers is in Davison. Connie comes from a family of three sisters and one brother. You may have seen Connie and her twin sister Carla at any given Golf Fundraisers laughing and driving around in the golf cart. Connie is blessed to have an incredible husband, Jack Somers, retired Davison Fire Chief. Connie has two successful Sons and Daughters-In-Law, Todd Somers Genesee County Sheriff, is Connie’s oldest son and is married to Kristina Somers, City of Mt. Morris. Together they have three daughters Abby, Kelsey, and Piper Somers. Corey Somers, owner of Somers Property Management, is Connie’s second son and is married to Helena Somers, Owner of Somer’s Floral Design. They have three children as well; Blake, Keagan, and Lily Somers. Connie has trail-blazed her way as one of the few and main females in Davison’s Adult Softball League. She organized the recreational league, organized umpires, and ran the State Qualifying and State Tournaments that have played in Davison for more than two decades. “Connie is a very family oriented person, there is nothing she wouldn’t do for her family or those she cares about. She is not only one of the funniest people I met, she is also one of the most genuine people. Connie knows how to live in the moment and to truly cherish each day. She is literally one of my favorite people.” — Rachael Suchy DCER Supervisor “Connie is a very special friend and Colleague to me. I have known her ever since I have worked at DCER.
