Introduction Tincture of iodine, 1% solution is a iodine and potassium iodide solution in alcohol. Iodine is used as antiseptic and disinfectant; it has strong antibacterial property when combined with alcohol. It is used on intact skin before surgical treatment and in case of cuts and minor wounds.

Procedure for using: For use on skin only. The product is safe for use with grown ups, the elderly and children. Apply on skin using cotton wool or smaller brush.

Storing, stability and expiry date Keep Tincture of iodine, 1% in a tightly closed original package at temperature between 15°C and 25°C. Keep in dry places, do not freeze and avoid exposing to direct sunlight. Date of manufacture and expiry date are printed on the product's label.
