This past spring ,Trey qualified for the NCAA’s in the hammer throw after ranking among the best in the Pac-10 conference. Vancouver College Fighting Irish were able to shut out the 10 time champion STM Knights by the score of 8 to 0. The game was played in the mud and rain and was an “old school” type of defensive battle. The Irish and Knights both played with a lot of heart. This year Vancou- Good luck ver College was able to beat a great STM team 3 times; with wins in exhibition, regular league play and for the championship trophy. Irish in VC’s Matt McIntyre was the winner of the “Most Valuable Lineman”. He was a 2 way force all day. Matt came back from a tough injury this year, breaking his foot midway through the season (while playing STM)- early in that game, he had his foot stepped on and felt the pain For fun, fitness but did not want to come out for long.
