S.I.L.F2019 41st INTERNATIONAL COLLOQUIUM ON FUNCTIONAL LINGUISTICS Florina, Greece 13-19 October 2019

1st Circular

Nine years after the 33rd international colloquium in , the SILF is pleased to come back to Greece in 2019 for its 41st edition. The 41st colloquium will be organised by the University of ’s School of Education in Florina. The UoWM is located 160km away from , second-largest in Greece and of Greek Macedonia.

On this occasion, the SILF wishes to continue presenting its works in plenary sessions, as it traditionally has. Following our Spanish colleagues’ initiative, we would also like to revive the workshop tradition, first introduced during our 7th colloquium in St. Andrews (Edinburgh), in 1980. If the number of applications allows it, a poster session will be organised, there again as a plenary session.

We look forward to welcoming many of you to this industrious yet friendly meeting, in our magical, picturesque and multilingual town.
