The road to my Ph.D. started with training for one year at National Centre for Aquatic Animal Health, CUSAT. I take this opportunity to say heartfelt thanks to Dr. Dhamodharan sir as well. He introduced me to Dr. Bright Sigh and provided excellent training in the field of Microbiology under the guidance of Dr. Manju N, J and Dr Deepesh Valsan. During the period, both of them gave sisterly affection to me and helped me to learn and enhance my knowledge in the field of Microbiology. I take this opportunity to thank both of them and let God the Almighty shall grant all their wishes to be fruitful. It has been a great privilege to be a part of National Centre for Aquatic Animal Health for my research work. It is my pleasant duty to thank all the fellow researchers at the centre. Especially I would like to mention the seniors, Dr.Sreedharan, Dr.Rejesh kumar, Dr.Sudheer.N.S, Dr.Ranjit Kanjoor, Dr.Seena Jose, Dr. Jiji Poulose, Dr. B.
