SAVE THE $2 PARKING FEE AND TAKE SACRT TO THE RUN BECAUSE YOU CAN 5K! Thanks to a partnership between the Runnin’ for Rhett Foundation and SacRT, Run Because You Can 5K participants and attendees can ride free on SacRT buses and light rail trains on Sunday, April 22, 2018, with a printed Run Because You Can flyer (only one flyer needed per couple). GETTING THERE • SacRT recommends parking at one of our key light rail stations for better service (Sunrise, Watt/ Manlove, Franklin or Roseville Road) • On weekends, light rail trains operate every 30 minutes. • Click here or visit sacrt.com for light rail schedules. DOWNTOWN ARRIVAL STATIONS (Closest to Sacramento City College) • Passengers riding to Sacramento City College on the Blue Line from Citrus Heights/Roseville OR from South Sacramento/Elk Grove should exit the train at the City College Station. • Passengers riding to Sacramento City College on the Gold Line from Folsom/Rancho Cordova should exit the train at the 16th Street Station and transfer to a Blue Line train on the south side of the platform. Board a “Cosumnes River College” train then exit at the City College Station. NOTE: 16th Street Station is served by two light rail lines on weekends (Gold Line and Blue Line). It’s im- portant to pay attention to the train headsigns before boarding. DOWNTOWN DEPARTURE STATIONS (Closest to Sacramento City College) • Passengers taking the Blue Line toward Citrus Heights/Roseville should board a “Watt/I-80” train (check the train sign) at the City College Station. • Passengers taking the Blue Line toward south Sacramento/Elk Grove should board a “Cosumnes River College” train (check the train sign) at the City College Station. • Passengers that need to travel back to the Gold Line to Rancho Cordova/Folsom stations should board a “Watt/I-80” train (check the train sign) and exit the train at the 16th Street Station. Trans- fer to a Gold Line train on the north side of the platform then board a “Sunrise or Folsom” train. TRAVEL TIMES • Travel time from Roseville Road Station to City College Station takes approximately 40 minutes. • Travel time from Sunrise Station to City College Station takes approximately 45 minutes. • Travel time from Watt/Manlove Station to City College Station takes approximately 30 minutes. • Travel time from Franklin Station to City College Station takes approximately 15 minutes..
