Download dieser Seite als PDF. Niki Deistler Studiert verschiedene fernöstliche Kampfkünste seit der Jugend. Seine Schwerpunkte sind das Taijiquan nach GM Huang Xing Xian und Taiji Tanglangquan (Gottesanbeterinnen Stil). Seine beiden Hauptlehrer sind Meister Lau Kung King (direkter Schüler von GM Huang) und Meister Zhou Zhendong, Linienhalter im Taiji Tanglang in der 9. Generation. Niki Deistler nahm erfolgreich an verschiedenen Wushu Meisterschaften in China teil und führte auch einige seiner Schüler zu einer erfolgreichen Teilnahme bei den österr. Wushu Meisterschaften. 2006 gründete er gemeinsam mit seiner Frau, Yonghui D.-Yi, den Verein – TAIJIARTS – zur Förderung der chinesischen Kampfkunst und Philosophie. Er verbringt regelmäßig viel Zeit in China. Niki Deistler unterrichtet vollzeit in Wien. Er ist Lehrtrainer der IQTÖ (Interessensvertretung der österreichischen Qigong, Yiquan und Taijiquanlehrer), sowie Referent für Qigong an der Donau Uni Krems. Introduction
INTRODUCTION The wuxia film is the oldest genre in the Chinese cinema that has remained popular to the present day. Yet despite its longevity, its history has barely been told until fairly recently, as if there was some force denying that it ever existed. Indeed, the genre was as good as non-existent in China, its country of birth, for some fifty years, being proscribed over that time, while in Hong Kong, where it flowered, it was gen- erally derided by critics and largely neglected by film historians. In recent years, it has garnered a following not only among fans but serious scholars. David Bordwell, Zhang Zhen, David Desser and Leon Hunt have treated the wuxia film with the crit- ical respect that it deserves, addressing it in the contexts of larger studies of Hong Kong cinema (Bordwell), the Chinese cinema (Zhang), or the generic martial arts action film and the genre known as kung fu (Desser and Hunt).1 In China, Chen Mo and Jia Leilei have published specific histories, their books sharing the same title, ‘A History of the Chinese Wuxia Film’ , both issued in 2005.2 This book also offers a specific history of the wuxia film, the first in the English language to do so. It covers the evolution and expansion of the genre from its beginnings in the early Chinese cinema based in Shanghai to its transposition to the film industries in Hong Kong and Taiwan and its eventual shift back to the Mainland in its present phase of development. Subject and Terminology Before beginning this history, it is necessary first to settle the question ofterminology , in the process of which, the characteristics of the genre will also be outlined. -

In Europe, the School of Internal Arts (pseudonym) follows key principles of the ancient Chinese text The Yijinjing (The Muscle-Tendon Change Classic) “Skeleton up, flesh down”, in its online and offline pedagogy. This article draws on an ongoing ethnographic, netnographic and cross-cultural investigation of the transmission of knowledge in this atypical association that combines Taijiquan with a range of practices such as Qigong, body loosening exercises and meditation. Exploring the ideal body cultivated by the students, we describe and illustrate key (and often overlooked) body areas—namely the spine, scapula, Kua and feet, which are continually worked on in the School of Internal Arts’ exercise-based pedagogy. We argue that Neigong and Taijiquan, rather than being forms of physical education, are vehicles for adult physical re-education. Questo articolo è un estratto del libro “ Il Meihuaquan: una ricerca da Chang Dsu Yao alle origini ” di Storti Enrico e altri Presentazione: Oggi questo testo rimane la testimonianza di un indagine che nuovi studi rendono un po’ datata. In particolare sempre più evidente è anche l’intreccio del Meihuaquan con la religione Buddista oltre che con quella Taoista e con il Confucianesimo. Resta invece mitologico il legame con il Tempio Shaolin ed il relativo pugilato. Rimangono comunque tanti altri interessanti spunti di riflessione. Teachers and Themes TCFE-Forum and Push Hands Meeting 2008 Dan Docherty has studied tai chi chuan since 1971 with Master Cheng Tin Hung. In 1980 he was the south-east open- weight champion. Dan is a founder member of both the Tai Chi Union for Great Britain and the Taijiquan & Qigong Federation for Europe where he serves as President. Theme: Tai Chi qinna shuai jiao & die pu and their connection to tui shou Luis Molera studied Tai Chi Chuan since 1980 & taught since 1984. He studied with Master William CC Chen and in Taiwan with with masters like Chen Shiu-Yao (Rosa Chen), Chen Zhi Dan and Jeang Shen Chih. He has won many tournaments in pushing hands, tai chi form, sword, sabre and fan in Europe and Taiwan. Sam Masich A passionate and gifted teacher, Sam Masich is one the most accomplished North American practitioners of Taijiquan and the Chinese Internal Arts, having studied full time since 18 years of age. His work as a full time instructor has, in the past 25 years, taken him to over 100 cities and towns in Canada, USA, Mexico, Spain and Germany. Students from around the world have traveled to his Annual Push Hands Training Camps in Vancouver, Canada. The subject of several documentaries, Sam has produced over 20 films on Internal Arts related topics. -

Internal Gardnes Grandmaster Jou Tsung-Hwa’s “The Dao of Taijiquan: Way to Rejuvenation (Tai Chi)” is like a bible for Tai Chi practitioners all over the world. It is still in print after its first Release in 1981. Shifu (Sifu) Loretta Wollering was a lead editor for the last edition and a disciple of Grandmaster Jou. The edited interview below with Shifu Wollering talks about her Tai Chi journey with Grandmaster Jou which provides a precious window for us to get a glance of his passion for Tai Chi, interesting personal stories, profound teaching method, and caring personality. The interview is divided into two parts. Part 1 is as below and Part 2 will be published on Sept 1, 2010. Shifu Loretta also provided memorable photos of Grandmaster Jou and the legendary Tai Chi Farm. Part 1 Violet: I heard that Tai Chi helped you with the health problems. Can you share the stories with us? Loretta: I was 19 in college (Rutgers University; New Brunswick, NJ) and had a knee injury from martial arts practice. I walked with a cane. I had heard that Tai Chi had worked miracles for helping some people with health problems and injury, and I knew that Tai Chi was highly regarded by doctors of Chinese medicine, and that it was an art based on the martial arts. -
