1. God to draw unbelievers to salvation. In John 6:44, Jesus says, “No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him;”

2. The Spirit to accelerate the work of conviction. Jesus said, about the Spirit’s ministry, that “when he comes, he will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment” (John 16:8);

3. God to reveal opportunities. We can follow Paul, who asked the Colossian church to “pray also for us, that God may open to us a door for the word, to declare the mystery of Christ” (Col 4:3); and

4. God to fill you with bold words. Again, Paul asked the Ephesian church to pray “also for me, that words may be given to me in opening my mouth boldly to proclaim the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains, that I may declare it boldly, as I ought to speak” (Eph 6:19-20).
