ABSTRACT Th is paper is the second result of the study of large collections of Plumulari- oidea (Cnidaria, Hydrozoa, Leptolida), collected in the seas surrounding New Caledonia, in the Philippines and in Indonesian waters by French expeditions. A total of 13 belonging to the genera Antennella (fi ve species), Clado- plumaria (one species), (four species), Monostaechas (two species) and Corhiza (one species) are described or mentioned in the present report; KEY WORDS Cnidaria, most of which are illustrated. Th ree new species, Antennella sinuosa n. sp., Hydrozoa, Antennella megatheca n. sp. and Corhiza pauciarmata n. sp. are described and Leptolida (Hydroida), another, Halopteris concava (Billard, 1911) is recorded for the fi rst time since Halopterididae, Pacifi c Ocean, the original description. Two species, Antennella sp. and Monostaechas sp. are new species. only identifi ed to the level.

RÉSUMÉ Hydraires de la famille Halopterididae (Cnidaria, Hydrozoa) récoltés par plusieurs expéditions françaises dans le Pacifi que occidental. Ce travail est la deuxième publication sur l’étude d’une grande collection d’Hydroïdes de la superfamille (Cnidaria, Hydrozoa, Leptolida) provenant de diverses campagnes françaises faites dans la région de la Nouvelle- Calédonie, aux Philippines et en Indonésie. Treize espèces, appartenant aux genres Antennella (cinq espèces), Cladoplumaria (une espèce), Halopteris (quatre espèces), Monostaechas (deux espèces) et Corhiza (une espèce), sont décrites ou MOTS CLÉS Cnidaria, mentionnées dans cette étude et la plupart sont aussi fi gurées. Trois espèces, Hydrozoa, Antennella sinuosa n. sp., Antennella megatheca n. sp. et Corhiza pauciarmata n. sp., Leptolida (Hydroida), sont décrites comme nouvelles et Halopteris concava (Billard, 1911) est signalée Halopterididae, océan Pacifi que, pour la première fois après sa description originale. Deux espèces, Antennella sp. espèces nouvelles. et Monostaechas sp. ont été identifi ées seulement au niveau du genre.

base. Male gonotheca smaller, ovoid, with circu- lar aperture closed by a lid and basal part with two nematothecae; one male gonotheca without nematothecae. Nematothecae on gonothecae of both sexes bithalamic, movable and with rim of apical chamber slightly scooped at sides adjacent to gonotheca.

REMARKS Antennella varians is considered a variable species by Rees & Vervoort (1987). Variations described by Billard (1913) were related to the length of hydro- and nematothecae and the position of the hydrothecal rim, perpendicular or oblique to stem. Later, Rees & Vervoort (1987) found in material of the John Murray expedition, a strong development
