    Anna Höglund tilldelas Astrid Lindgren-priset Författaren, illustratören och konstnären Anna Höglund tilldelades idag Astrid Lindgren-priset för förtjänstfullt författarskap inom barn- och ungdomslitteraturen med motiveringen: Anna Höglund både skriver och tecknar poetiskt och precist, egensinnigt och vackert, samtida och tidlöst om relationer, känslor och identitet samt om att vara liten och bli stor så att det känns och stannar kvar hos såväl små som stora läsare. Prisutdelningen ägde rum i Rabén & Sjögrens lokaler på Riddarholmen i Stockholm. Traditionsenligt bjöds på ostkaka och portvin. Anna Höglund föddes 1958 och räknas som en av Sveriges främsta illustratörer och har samarbetat med författare som Ulf Stark, Barbro Lindgren, Eva Susso, Gunnar Lundkvist och Ulf Nilsson. Hon har också skrivit flera egna böcker, som böckerna om Mina och Kåge. Hon debuterade 1982 med Sagan om pannkakan och har sedan dess publicerat ett 20-tal böcker, varav många har blivit översätta till andra språk. Anna Höglund skriver även dramatik och gör tecknad film. Hon bor tillsammans med man och barn i Stockholm. Astrid Lindgren-priset instiftades av Rabén & Sjögren den 14 november 1967 på Astrids 60-årsdag. Priset har sedan dess delats ut årligen för förtjänstfullt författarskap inom barn- och ungdomslitteraturen. Prissumman är på 50 000 kronor.     Introduction Narratives of Children’s Literature Around 1968 We like to think of the 1970s as the decade when Swedish chil- dren’s literature became political. However, when later critics began sketching the most significant changes in children’s literature of the period the verdict was harsh. The tidal wave had changed. Now the critics turned against the demand for socially oriented realism, and questioned the aversion towards imagination and fantasy which, it was argued, had characterized Swedish children’s literature since the late 1960s. An illustrative example is found in an article written by Ronny Ambjörnsson in the summer of 1981, in which he attacked the alleged dominance of the socio-realistic norm in the 1970s, and argued for another kind of children’s literature. In Ambjörnsson’s view, it was clear that Göran Palm’s call for more realistic literature in the early 1960s had become a major influence for the writers of children’s books. In light of this, Ambjörnsson states that the chil- dren’s literature of the 1970s had turned anti-idyllic and realistic at the expense of imagination and fairy tales (R. Ambjörnsson). In short, Ambjörnsson claimed that the fairy tale genre was “banned” from children’s literature during the 1970s, and he argued that this entailed undesirable effects for the reading child. In his view, the insight into societal problems strived for in socially orient- ed children’s books did not necessarily lead to liberation or change, it could just as easily result in resignation. Moreover, he argued, there are important aspects in life that cannot be described in the language of realism.

    GÖTEBORGS UNIVERSITET Institutionen för svenska språket Svenska språket ”KOMMER VOVVEN” En studie av verbalsyntax i småbarnsbilderböcker Lisa Loenheim SPECIALARBETE, 10 POÄNG Svenska språket, fördjupningskurs 2 (61–80 poäng) Vårterminen 2007 Handledare: Anders-Börje Andersson Sammandrag I uppsatsen jämförs verbalsyntaxen i småbarnsbilderböcker med mål­ gruppens språk, med syfte att avgöra hur barnspråksnära författarna skriver. Urvalet av böcker utgår från en lista utgiven av Regionbibliotek Västra Götaland med rekommenderade böcker för barn upp till 2 år. Följande författare är representerade i studien: Barbro Lindgren, Anna- Clara Tidholm och Catarina Kruusval. Uppsatsens teoretiska ram är den generativa grammatiken och metoden är kvalitativ. Generativ analys används för att undersöka korrelationen mellan barnboksspråkets och barnspråkets syntaktiska komplexitet, dvs. närvaro/frånvaro av funktionella fraser som Inflection Phrase (IP) och Complementizer Phrase (CP) som medger komplexa, finita satser. Generativ teori används också för att förklara frekventa, avvikande syntaktiska fenomen som deklarativa VS-satser och subjekts­ lösa yttranden i barn- och barnboksspråket. I resultatdelen konstateras att författarna i sina enklare serier skriver barnspråksnära. Böckerna förutsätter ingen CP-grammatik. Tidholm använder icke-finithet, Lindgren och Kruusval finita men enkla yttran­ den. Vidare nyttjar Lindgren satstypen VS och Tidholm subjektslösa yttranden.     ILLUSTRATORS PIJA LINDENBAUM, PERNILLA STALFELT AND JAN LÖÖF AMONG THOSE SELECTED FOR THE BOLOGNA BOOK FAIR Thirty one illustrators will represent Sweden at the world’s largest Children’s Book Fair in Bologna in March 2013. Well‐known names include Anna‐Clara Tidholm, sisters Lisen and Emma Adbåge, Sven Nordqvist and many other contemporary Swedish illustrators of children’s books. The ages of those selected range from Ilon Wikland, born in 1930, to Clara Dackenberg, born in 1987. A third of the illustrators were born in the 1980s, which bodes well for a new lease of life for the Swedish picture book. Emma Adbåge was born in Linköping in 1982 and is a children’s author and an illustrator of children’s books. Till Operaverkstans uppsättning har tillkommit delvis nykom- ponerad text och musik. Gatubarnet Andrejs mamma har på ett gåtfullt sätt försvunnit. Någon säger att hon har gått bort. Men vart? Andrej och hans nyfunne vän Vova ger sig ut i den stora staden Sankt Petersburgs skuggspel för att hitta henne igen. Andrejs längtan är en barnopera om sagans kraft, hur vi hittar på, förklarar och förstår vår verklighet genom att berätta. Bilderboken Andrejs längtan av Barbro Lindgren och Eva Erik sson utkom 1997. Boken fångar en drömsk atmosfär i den stora staden Sankt Petersburg. Andrej letar efter sin mamma. Hon är borta! Andrej tänker tillbaka på tiden inne i mammas mage. Han hade ett bättre liv då, innan han blev född. Mamma hade en blå klänning och han hade ett eget rum och en trädgård med äppelträd och en glad liten hund där inne. Nu är Andrej och Vova på rymmen från barn­ hemmet. Lilla Vovas steg blir tyngre och tyngre. De möter en polis, en glad bagare i gratisaffären. En hund slår följe med dem och till slut orkar de inte ta sig vidare. Men drömmen lever om en mamma, en mätt mage, en hund som får valpar och ett blommande äppelträd. När boken förvandlades till opera var det Georg Riedel som kontaktade Barbro Lindgren och bad henne skriva librettot. Eftersom musikteater och bilderbok är olika konstnärliga uttryck, följer inte dramatiseringen slaviskt boken.

Her works command a thematic and stylistic breadth granted to only a few, always with complete trust in the reader’s ability to see beneath the surface. With seemingly simple means and with all-embracing warmth, Barbro Lindgren creates characters that live on long after her books are closed. Her stories are often humorous and always possess a uniquely warm tone of voice that speaks directly to the child, whether she is offering amusing escapades or more serious reflections.

  • Läsrörelsen Och Mcdonald's 2001 – 2018
    Läsrörelsen och McDonald's 2001 – 2018 Hösten 1998 inledde Föreningen Läsrörelsen, Svenska McDonald’s och Munkedals pappersbruk diskussioner om hur vi gemensamt skulle stimulera barns läsande. Detta resulterade drygt två år senare i att 1,2 miljoner barn- och ungdomsböcker ingick i Happy Meal och en annan måltid på McDonald’s alla restauranger under fyra veckor i januari och februari 2001. En av böckerna var Lennart Hellsings och Poul Ströyers ABC. Denna insats för att öka barns läsande var en i den långa raden av läsfrämjande aktiviteter som ingick i Läsrörelsen vid starten 2000/2001. Detta följdes av ytterligare två kampanjperioder med vardera en miljon CD ROM-spel kring lärande och lek för barn under 2002 och 2003. Sedan 2004 har bra barn- och bilderböcker funnits i Happy Meal under en månad varje höst. Under åtta år fanns ett unikt nordiskt Bok Happy Meal (2010-2017) som – tack vare alla författare, illustratörer, översättare och bokförlag nådde barn över hela Norden under fyra veckor. Under 2018 fortsätter det i Sverige, Norge och Finland i en upplaga av 1,4 miljoner. Böckerna är av författare och illustratörer från de lika länderna och är översatta till respektive lands språk. Totalt är det åtta titlar i 24 olika versioner. Allt som allt har 121 titlar av 109 olika upphovsmän distribuerats i en upplaga av 21,9 miljoner böcker mellan åren 2001 och 2018. Böckerna har under åren valts av redaktör Marianne von Baumgarten-Lindberg som sitter i Läsrörelsens styrelse. Projektledare från Läsrörelsen är sedan starten föreningens tidigare kampanjledare, nu ordförande Elisabet Reslegård.
