Please pray for the second graders and their families from both the day school and the PSR as they receive Our Lord in First Eucharist this weekend! These students have been preparing for this day for quite a while. Last weekend they went on a field trip to the Poor Clare Monastery where Sister Mary Michael shared her experience as a member of the Poor Clares. We had a very exciting SFA XSTREAM Night last week. Check out the pictures below! Parents and kids alike enjoyed driving robots that had been programmed by our fifth grade in Project Lead the Way, planting seedlings for our garden, making music by connecting circuits through people, engineering designs that allowed helicopters to fly and heavy books to be propped up by 2 sheets of paper, coding with colors to knock down bowling pins, bouncing in a bounce house, Sphero robot races, thermal imaging and more.
