December: Babatunde (Patrick) Ajayi May: Emma Mohabir January: Abigail Malino June: David Greenman FAVORITE MEMORY Compiled by Victoria Perez-Palacious, 2023 and Brielle Ramundo, 2021 Abby Wilson: “My favorite moment was going to prom where I was able to see everyone in my grade that I haven’t seen in a while and being able to dance the whole night.” Dexter Kennedy: “My favorite memory was coming into school for the first time for a full year and being able to talk to friends that I hadn't had the chance to talk to since the pandemic.” The Dawg Print Class of 2021 7 Polina Lastovskaya: “For me personally, I loved prom because it was the first event where our entire grade was really together. It was finally something we got in our senior year and could celebrate…even all just dancing together.” Jeremy Dash: “Beating New Providence in baseball at home for the first time in 4 years because it was the most fun I ever had in a high school sport.” Melissa Evers: “Definitely prom, honestly.” Olivia Vendas: “My favorite memory this year was our AP European History birthday celebrations. For every birthday so far, Mr. Van Deursen would draw a fake cupcake and a candle on Zoom and the person would "blow" it out.” Kaily Iglesias: “Prom, because it felt like things were back to normal again. Everyone was having fun and everyone had dressed up and we were living life.” Aaliyah Ellison: “Being able to do the musical.” Gavin Dzikowski: “The boys lacrosse team winning the conference championship.” Olivia Pagnillo: “My favorite memory was being able to finally experience a prom. I got the privilege to see mostly everyone in my class dressed up nice and having a good time.” Alex Gary: “My favorite memories were prom and playing soccer for one last time.” Carolina Silva: “Definitely coming back during the fall to play tennis. I was just so happy to see people I knew.” Aiden Forys: “My favorite memory was prom because it was so nice to finally see so many people again. It was also the perfect night after a lot of planning by the student council.” Anthony Apicella: “Winning conference in lacrosse and celebrating it.” Juliana Monticello: “Getting to have a normal prom!” Ryan Disko: “My favorite moment was the first day the district allowed teachers and students back in the building and I got to see my teachers face-to-face as well as a bunch of my classmates.” Kanzy Zayan, Abby Malino, Eliana McNamee, Dia Patel: “Prom!” Mia Olavarria: “Watching Dayton baseball games.” Jack Wolcott: “Prom because it was great to see almost everyone in the grade and have a good time with all of them to make up for the whole year where the majority of us did not see each other.” .
