Konsep modal insan perspektif al-Qur’an dirungkai dengan mencermati komponen modal insan yang terdiri daripada jasmani dan rohani, manakala elemen rohani terdiri daripada unsur fitrah, ‘aql, qalb, ruh, dan nafs. Selanjutnya, definisi “rabbani” perspektif al-Qur’an diteliti secara analisis tematik. Gandingan konsep modal insan dengan terminologi “rabbani” memperlihatkan konsep rabbani menjadi ukuran nilai yang merealisasikan pembangunan modal insan secara holistik. Kajian ini memilih Sa‘id Hawwa sebagai subjek penyelidikan kerana beliau adalah tokoh murabbi ummah yang sarat menyalurkan idea-idea pembangunan modal insan rabbani secara kritis dalam karya-karya beliau. Kajian kualitatif ini menggunakanMalaya metode dokumentasi, metode historis, metode temu bual, dan metode eksplorasi sebagai metode pengumpulan data. Manakala metode induktif, metode deduktif,of metode komparatif, dan metode analisis teks diguna pakai sebagai metode analisis data. Menyingkap pemikiran Sa‘id Hawwa, hasil analisis mendapati, terdapat tiga komponen teras pembangunan sewajarnya dibangunkan bagi melahirkan modal insan rabbani iaitu penerapan keilmuan rabbani, pengukuhan tarbiah rabbani, dan pembangunan dakwah rabbani. Ketiga-tiga komponen modal insan rabbani gagasan Sa‘id Hawwa distruktur berdasarkan nas-nas al-Qur’an yang mengandungi kalimah “rabbani”. Gagasan pembangunan modal insan rabbani beliauUniversity dilihat berupaya membangunkan modal insan secara holistik dan seimbang. Sa‘id Hawwa turut meletakkan institusi masjid sebagai wahana utama pembangunan modal insan rabbani dengan mengembangkan fungsi masjid sebagai hab pendidikan yang memiliki sukatan kurikulum pengajian Islam yang bersepadu, pusat tarbiah rohani, dan institusi pengkaderan pendakwah. iii ABSTRACT This study discusses the concept of rabbani human capital according to the Qur'an and analyses the rabbani human capital idea of Sa‘id Hawwa in the work of al-Asas fi al- Tafsir. The concept of human capital from Qur’anic perspective is expounded by examining the human capital component which consists of body and soul, while the spiritual features comprise of fitrah, ‘aql, qalb, ruh and nafs. Additionally the definition of “rabbani” from Quranic perspective is analysed thematically. The combination of the concept of human capital with the term “rabbani” shows that the concept of “rabbani” is the value indicator in actualising human capital development in a holistic manner. This study selected Sa‘id Hawwa as its subject because he was a murabbi figure who critically conveyed ideas of rabbani human capital development in his works. This qualitative study applied the documentationMalaya method, historical method, interview method, and exploration methodof as methods of data collection, whereas the inductive method, deductive method, comparative method, and text analysis method were adopted for data analysis. The analysis found that there are three core components of development that should be developed to produce rabbani human capital, which are the application of rabbani knowledge, strengthening rabbani tarbiyah, and the development of rabbani dakwa. The three components of rabbani human capital as envisioned by Sa‘id Hawwa were structured on the texts of the Qur’an that contain the wordUniversity “rabbani”. The idea of rabbani human capital development is seen as capable of developing a holistic and balanced human capital. Sa‘id Hawwa also placed the mosque institution as the main medium for the development of rabbani human capital by expanding its function as an education hub, with integrated Islamic curriculum, centre of spiritual tarbiyah and institution for dakwa training. iv PENGHARGAAN Segala puji bagi Allah S.W.T, Tuhan sekalian alam.     HUMANITIES INSTITUTE ARABIC LITERATURE – Postclassical Period Devin J Stewart, Ph.D. Classical Poetry : Qasidah (Ode) The “Hanging Odes”, the Dichotomy of Chaste and Not-So-Chaste Love, Wine-Poetry, Mystical Poetry, and other uses of the classical ode (qasidah) The pre-Islamic Ode. The pre-Islamic poet `Antarah ibn Shaddad wrote, “Have the poets left a song unsung?” Already in the pre-Islamic period, Arabic poetry had a long and venerable tradition. The most prestigious art form of the Arabs, it served many roles in society. The earliest recorded sources reveal that the most valued form of Arabic poetry was the qasidah or ode, a form that is still in use today, having enjoyed a life of over fifteen centuries. The qasidah varied in length from about 30 to 100 lines, adopted monorhyme, and consisted of individual verses (bayt) made up of two hemistichs (misra`), with a caesura in the middle. By convention, the first hemistich in the first verse of the poem also rhymed with the second hemistich—the same monorhyme—in an effect termed tasri`. Critics identified sixteen distinct meters, all quantitative, involving set patterns of long and short syllables like the meters of Greek, Latin, and Sanskrit poetry. The qasidah was typically tripartite, beginning with an amatory prelude (nasib), which portrayed the poet traveling in the desert and coming across the abandoned campsite of a former love; the intensity of the emotion evoked by the traces or ruins (atlal) of his loved cause him to compose a poem. The middle section of the poem, the journey (rahil), described the hardships the poet went through in order to reach the patron or the audience.

This study examines how Arabic poems and proverbs can be used as effective methods in the teaching and learning of Arabic to non-native speakers in Malaysia. It proposes that new and more innovative and effective methods should be introduced to replace the current conventional methods of teaching Arabic. This study aims to evaluate the presence of Arab culture in three main Arabic textbooks widely used in western institutions. The researcher applied a content analysis methodology to extract and examine the cultural aspects incorporated into these textbooks. The findings show a strong emphasis on the geographical, religious, and literary aspects and less focus on the societal and economic aspects and those related to the Arabs’ daily lifestyle and leisure. The results could be used to decide which textbooks are more suitable for a specific curriculum and to help improve future educational material’s content.

Then he looked at his father in resentment and said: "The slave doesn't know how to invade or how to defend, but the slave is only good for milking goats and serving his masters". Then his father said: "Defend your tribe and you are free", then Antarah fought and expelled the invading tribes.

From this aspect, the impact of Iranian culture on this literary genre should be explained to provide an answer for rejecting the allegations brought against Iranian culture.

    The History Of Literature I September 23, 2020 Category: History Download as PDF The word “poet[ry]” is derived from the Greek “poieses”, which means the will to create / transform. When it comes to the Reactionary proprietors of institutionalized dogmatism, then, “poieses” is naturally seen as a dire threat. “Wisdom Literature” goes back to the 3rd millennium B.C. with both the Sumerians and Egyptians (see Stuart Weeks’ work on the topic). The authors of the Hebrew Bible openly recognize this fact in First Kings 5:10. In the 20th century B.C., the “Admonition Of [The Murdered] Pharaoh Amenemhat To His Son, Senusret” was composed in Egypt. When it comes to ancient epics, the record goes back to the Sumerian “Epic of Gilgamesh”, which dates back to the late 3rd millennium B.C. The Akkadian “Enuma Elish” dates back to the early 2nd millennium B.C. In the early 11th century B.C., the Egyptian “Story of Wenamun” (an epic composed in Hieratic) was composed. Poetry dates to c. 700 B.C., with the Greek epics of Homer and Hesiod. Homer’s “The Iliad” and “The Odyssey” are still considered classics to the present day. And the legacy of lyric poetry goes back to Alkman of Sparta in the 7th century B.C. The oldest anthology of poetry is the “Shi-jing” [Book of Songs; a.k.a. “Classic of Poetry”] from the Zhou period in China. It was an ongoing compilation of material that started in the 11th century B.C. and continued on through the 7th century B.C.
