Within the square stands a 6 metre high sculpture of a gilded Bauhinia Bladeana ( the official flower of Hong Kong ). The sculputure signifies the reunion of Hong Kong to The People’s Republic of China and it symbolizes for continuous prosperity and “one country two system “ at work in Hong Kong. !
