Deliverance and Sanctification

The topic of sanctification is probably one of the most overlooked topics as a believer. There is a lot of focus on salvation and very little if any, emphasis on sanctification. This is most likely because of the assumption that salvation fixes everything in our lives. Don’t get me wrong, salvation is very important and foundational but there is more to a set apart life. It is both the start and the destination of our journey, but there is a need for sanctification in between. Here are a few example why sanctification is needed among Christians. A. High prevalence of divorce B. Poor health C. Sexual sins D. Evil thoughts E. Being drawn towards witchcraft F. Generational curses and strongholds - (wrong way of thinking or beliefs) G. Rejection issues H. Emotional issues If salvation and sanctification happens simultaneously, we would not see this. Sanctification among believers must take place with the help of the Holy Spirit. After we accept the Lord Jesus as our savior, we need to work on sanctification. This is the will for us. We are called to be sanctified. 1 Thessalonians 4:3 For it is the will of God, your sanctification. Definition of Sanctification: To make Holy, set apart as sacred, consecrate, to purify or free from sin. At the moment of conversion, the Holy Spirits enters our life and we are free to live the live the life God desires for us. We are set apart and not of this world. Sanctification does not stop with salvation, but rather it is a progressive process that continues in a Christian life. Sanctification is the process of restoration and purification. Salvation: Salvation is a choice we make to accept our Lord Jesus Christ as our Lord and savior. Romans 10:9-10 That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus Christ and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Liberation Freedom Ministry Page 1 | 3 https://www.liberationfreedomministry.com The Lord wants us cleansed to do kingdom work! 2 Timothy 2:21 (Amplified) Therefore, if anyone cleanses himself from these things which are dishonorable – disobedient , sinful, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified (Set apart for a special purpose) and useful to the Master, prepared for every good work. Acts 26:18 (Amplified) To open their spiritual eyes so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of satan to God, that they may receive forgives and release from their sins, and an inheritance among those who have been sanctified (Set apart, made Holy) by faith in me.

Importance of Inner healing and deliverance - sanctification

Deliverance - sanctification belongs to the church and should be a part of the sanctification process. I’m not here to argue with those who are not in agreement, but I have spoken with church leaders who do not believe in deliverance – sanctification. As a minister I have ministered deliverance – sanctification to hundreds of God’s children. It’s sad that so many are suffering spiritually from generational bondages and past sins that have opened the door to the demonic. It is time for the church to Do What Jesus Did. John 14:12 12 Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. Jesus gave us this gift as part of our authority that was handed to us as believers through His finished work on the cross. Mark 16:17 And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; A balance ministry seeks healing in all areas of the believer. Inner healing, (dealing with disassociate Identity Disorder (DID, occult entanglement), trauma, rejection and abandonment issues, past sexual and physical abuse, addictions, breaking strongholds, generational curses, casting out demons and counseling through the power of the Holy Spirit. In order for us to go through this sanctification process, we must be released from any areas of our life that is under the influences of the enemy. 1 Thessalonians 5:23 May God Himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. Make your whole spirit, soul and body be blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Deliverance – sanctification is necessary because of the warfare. The enemy will fight to hinder your destiny and calling on your life. Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not harm you. Plans to give you hope and a future Example of sanctification in the bible: Moses removed the Hebrews out of Egypt. Despite all the Miracles of God, they were not transformed from slaves to free men. They thought as slaves and acted the same. Once we receive salvation, we have to change from the old way of thinking and not do the same old things of the past.

Romans 12 New King James Version (NKJV) 12 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your [reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
