Lasseter from the U.S. Naval Brig was recently selected as 2000 Sailor of the Year for Naval Station and Naval Base. He was also selected as Sailor of the Quarter for the fourth quarter for Naval Station and Naval Base. Lasseter will now compete for Southeast Region Sailor of the Year in Jacksonville the week of Feb. 11. Lasseter served as brig guard and recently elevated to brig administra- tive supervisor because of his un- matched leadership and managerial a skills.
