Hampton had not lost at home since Jan. 28, March 9-14, 2015 Norfolk Scope Arena, Norfolk, Va. 2012, falling to Coppin State in overtime, prior to a loss to American back on Dec. 4 of last season. Hampton is 1-1 at home this season after beating Morgan State 63-43 on Dec. 8, and the Lady Pi- rates have won 11 of their last 12 home games. All times are EST and subject to change UNPRECEDENTED: FIVE IN A ROW *denotes MEAC game Home games are in bold Prior to the 2013-14 season, no MEAC women’s team had ever won five straight conference tourna- ments. But when the Lady Pirates defeated Coppin State 50-47 in last year’s MEAC Tournament title game, they did just that. Head coach David Six has won the MEAC Tournament in each of his five seasons at the helm, and the Lady Pirates have won the last four MEAC regular-season titles. During that span, Hampton is 62-2 in MEAC play (74-2 including MEAC Tournament games). That stretch includes back-to-back seasons in which the Lady Pirates went undefeated in conference play; overall, the Lady Pirates have won 49 straight games against MEAC foes, including conference tournament.
