BARDSTOWN, KY – Over the past several years, Heaven Hill Brands has built its portfolio, infrastructure and team of people to prepare for the future of distilled spirits. This approach positions Heaven Hill to be a leading supplier with a competitive edge, while staying grounded with a commitment to independence and remaining true to the company’s core values. In just a couple of short months, 2019 has already proven to be an exciting year for Heaven Hill. In January, Heaven Hill was proud to announce Conor O’Driscoll as the seventh Master Distiller in its 84- year history. His wealth of experience in the industry and technical expertise gives him the ability to focus on quality, authenticity and innovation, all hallmarks of the Heaven Hill distilling legacy. In addition to this exciting addition to the team, the company recently began an $18 million expansion to the Heaven Hill Distillery Visitor Center on the Bardstown, Kentucky campus. With an enlarged footprint, the new center will be a hallmark location for visitor experiences on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail and will focus on the story of Heaven Hill Distillery since its inception in 1935, the Shapira Family, and iconic brands within the portfolio. Visitors will experience a multi-sensory showcase of the stories behind the evolution of Kentucky Bourbon, rooted in key periods in America’s history. Heaven Hill is always working to create a smoother ordering and delivering process, improving accuracy and speed as well as increasing production. As the American Whiskey inventory continues to grow, Heaven Hill is working to accommodate more aging barrels by building additional bourbon maturation warehouses across the bluegrass. At the end of 2018, the 57th warehouse was opened in Heaven Hill’s newly acquired Cox’s Creek property. The company also surged past 8,000,000 barrels filled since 1935 in 2018. These improvements will continue to bear fruit for many years ahead. “Heaven Hill Brands is excited to participate in Vinexpo Bordeaux 2019 and share the tremendous growth the company has recently experienced. The future also looks prosperous for brands across Heaven Hill’s diverse portfolio. Deep Eddy Vodka continues its quest to be the best-selling premium Vodka in the United States. The brand’s event-driven field marketing efforts are delivering its quintessentially Austin vibe to millions of millennial consumers across the country. Likewise, Lunazul Tequila continues to be one of the fastest growing 100% Agave Tequilas in the United States with more than 350,000 cases sold in 2018. Finally, with Evan Williams as the 2nd largest Bourbon brand in the world and the significant growth of Elijah Craig and Larceny brands, Heaven Hill is well positioned for success over for decades to come. These brands, and the rest of the portfolio, are performing exceptionally well with the support of innovative and exciting sales and marketing programs.
