Dear Dhamma friends and followers of the most venerable Chanmyay Sayadaw,
On behalf of the Chanmyay Meditation Centers around the world, we would like to cordially invite you to join the online- ceremony of New Year veneration of Venerable Chanmyay Sayadaw, honoring with profound reverence of Sayadaw’s noble qualities of Sila, Samadhi and Pannya. Sayadaw is now 93 years of age and still striving diligently for the dissemination and propagation of Buddhism across the entire globe.
Everyone who wishes to join this auspicious event can participate online via ZOOM.

(1) Opening of the ceremony by reciting Chanmyay motto. (2) Taking five precepts from venerable Chanmyay Sayadaw. (3) Paying homage to Buddha, Dhamma and Sangha. Offering of flowers, fruits, water, lights to Buddha. (4) Honoring speech with great gratitude to Chanmyay Sayadaw Phayargyi on behalf of all Chanmyay Meditation Centers and brief thank to all volunteers and participants, will be delivered by a committee member of Satipatthana Vipassana Association, Chanmyay Meditation Center of Springfield, Illinois, USA. (5) Announcing the donor list and the donation to Chanmyay Sayadaw. (6) Offering the Four Requisites from the donation to Chanmyay Sayadaw. (7) New Year message and Dhamma talk given by Chanmyay Sayadaw. (8) Sharing the merit with all beings. (9) Announcement of the successful completion of 2021 New Year veneration of Chanmyay Sayadaw. Translation: The Three Refuges

Translation: The Five Precepts
I undertake to observe the precept to abstain from destroying living beings. I undertake to observe the precept to abstain from taking things not given. I undertake to observe the precept to abstain from sexual misconduct. I undertake to observe the precept to abstain from false speech. I undertake to observe the precept to abstain from liquor causing intoxication and heedlessness.
I undertake to observe the Five Precepts to the best of my ability. (3 times) Chanmyay Metta Chanting
May all beings be happy and healthy, free from physical and mental suffering. May everything go well in harmony. May all beings be away from harm and danger; free from sorry and worry. May all beings be in peace and happiness. May all of us be free from anger and conceit, free from animosity to torture, injure or kill others, free from envy or ill-will. May all beings have pure minds, flooded with metta and compassion. May all of us abstain from telling lies, slander or splitting. May all of us abstain from harsh, harmful or angry speech. May all of us refrain from false, useless and fruitless speech. May all of us speak truthful, useful and fruitful speech. May all of us speak sweet and pleasant words in sincerity with kind intention. May all of us be free from covetousness. May all of us be free from desire to harm or hurt others. May all of us be able to restrain greed and control anger. May all of us be free from taking false faiths. May all of us be able to uphold the right faith. May all beings be able to practice generosity and charity. May all beings keep their virtues and morality. May all beings be able to practice samatha or vipassana meditation. May all beings be blessed with physical and mental well-being. May all beings have peaceful hearts.
