California District Council / 72nd Annual State Conference July 8-11, 2009

My extended greetings and honor, first and foremost, to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ; to the Resident Bishops, Suffragan Bishops, District Elders, Pastors, Delegates, and Guests of this great 72nd Annual California District Council Conference!

I feel the great move of God upon this conference, as we have all had significant and tremendous accomplishments, undertakings, and other momentous events to transpire since our last assembling. However, through it all, we have remained steadfast towards our conference theme, “Working as a Team to Fulfill the Dream”.

Once again our program and planning committees have secured skilled, knowledgeable, and professional facilitators for the scheduled events, geared towards meeting the needs of the various ministries that are structured for the upbuilding of the Kingdom of God.

As we remain faithful to this area of ministry, let us continue to move forward, but not being remised to remember and hold memories of those precious warriors and pillars that have gone home with the Lord; we honor them for their labor and support sown into this great Council.

In conclusion, I exhort every member to get into alignment, put their hands to the plow, and support this conference as we expand the vision by “Working as a Team to Fulfill the Dream.” In The Master’s Service,

It is with esteemed pleasure and gratitude that we give honor to the Lord on behalf of all of you gracing our fellowship with your presence and loyal support. On behalf of The Honorable Bishop Henry L. Johnson, Diocesan of the 16th Episcopal District, along with the entire CDC Administration, we extend to you our heartfelt thanks for the sacrifices and personal contributions that you have provided to make our fellowship, as well as our conference a success in Christ.

I invite you, as your servant Chairman, to participate and enjoy the outlined schedule of activities that are designed and programmed with your spiritual needs in mind. I encourage you to become a major contributor to the process of securing our future as members of the California District Council under the leadership of Bishop Johnson and his vision to work as a team to fulfill the dream of demonstrating 5-star worship and true oneness fellowship.

In conclusion, I honor the Lord for His grace and divine favor to be a part of a winning team, second to none, which will be demonstrated through our combined efforts to worship the name of Jesus, edify one another, promulgate the doctrine of the Apostles of the Lamb and personify a lifestyle of true holiness. Therefore, remember to make your presence known at each scheduled activity, session, morning prayer, and the evening services. Also, do not neglect the PYPU Friday night and all-day Saturday services.

Praise the Lord and holy greetings in the Name of Jesus: Welcome of the CDC State Conference of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc. 16th Episcopal District. I am yet rejoicing for the vision of our Diocesan, the Honorable Bishop Henry L. Johnson…”Working as a Team to Fulfill the Dream” I Corinthians 3:9.

I must say the spirit and desire of Bishop Johnson will come to fruition in each leader and facilitator at this conference. We are all working together to fulfill the dream to the Glory of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

To the Glory of God, our Christian Education Department, Missionary/Christian Women’s Auxiliary, International Missions, Evangelism/Outreach, Children’s Ministry, Teen Ministry, PYPU Department, Usher Board, Ministers & Deacons Wives, Prayer Power, and our Chairman Dr. Robert T. Douglas, are fitly joined together for the edifying and the promotion of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
