Wasserbillig in the past and today

The avenue of petrol stations and the border station in Wasserbillig are know by almost everyone in the country. The fact that the place has a lot more to offer and, above all, an interesting historical past has to be pointed out, is least known. Beginning with the Romans, shipbuilding and shipping, a wellfunctioning ceramic industry to large roses and tree nurseries, the range of interesting discoveries extends. Unfortu- nately, most of it has disappeared today, but other, new things have taken their place. So let us immerse ourselves in history and stories around and about Wasserbillig from then and now to explore the secrets of this important border town.
