Se presenta un catálogo de 462 hongos liquenizados y liquenícolas de la Sierra de Albarracín (Teruel, Aragón, España), como resultado de la IV Campaña de Recolección organizada por la Sociedad Española de Liquenología (SEL). Diplotomma hedinii es novedad para la Península Ibé- rica y Lepraria leuckertiana constituye una segunda cita peninsular, 69 taxones son novedad para Aragón y 86 lo son para la provincia de Teruel. A catalogue of 462 lichenized and lichenicolous fungi from Sierra de Albarracín, (Teruel, Spain), is presented as the result of the SEL (So- ciedad Española de Liquenología) IV collecting field trip. Diplotomma hedinii is recorded for the first time for the Iberian Peninsula and Lepra- ria leuckertiana is registered for the second time. The checklist also includes 69 taxa new for Aragón Community and 86 new for the province of Teruel. ADVAITA, CALEB A. MORSE1,2 AND DOUGLAS LADD3 ABSTRACT. – A total of 154 lichens, four lichenicolous fungi, and one allied fungus were collected by the authors from 2004 to 2015 from Pipestone National Monument (PNM), in Pipestone County, on the Prairie Coteau of southwestern Minnesota. Twelve additional species collected by previous researchers, but not found by the authors, bring the total number of taxa known for PNM to 171. This represents a substantial increase over previous reports for PNM, likely due to increased intensity of field work, and also to the marked expansion of corticolous and anthropogenic substrates since the site was first surveyed in 1899. Reexamination of 116 vouchers deposited in MIN and the PNM herbarium led to the exclusion of 48 species previously reported from the site. Crustose lichens are the most common growth form, comprising 65% of the lichen diversity. Sioux Quartzite provided substrate for 43% of the lichen taxa collected. Saxicolous lichen communities were characterized by sampling four transects on cliff faces and low outcrops. An annotated checklist of the lichens of the site is provided, as well as a list of excluded taxa. We report 24 species (including 22 lichens and two lichenicolous fungi) new for Minnesota: Acarospora boulderensis, A. contigua, A. erythrophora, A. strigata, Agonimia opuntiella, Arthonia clemens, A. muscigena, Aspicilia americana, Bacidina delicata, Buellia tyrolensis, Caloplaca flavocitrina, C. lobulata, C.

For each a short description is presented. Key words — Adıyaman, Afyon, Ascomycetes, Erzurum, Konya Introduction Interest in the lichen biota of Turkey has greatly increased in recent years, while 78 and 73 new lichen-forming and lichenocolous fungi taxa were recorded as new to Turkish lichen biota alone in 2007 and 2008, respectively, whereas 18 of them are newly described species (Candan & Halıcı 2008, Candan & Özdemir- Türk 2008, Çobanoğlu 2007, Halıcı 2008a,b,c,d, Halıcı & Candan 2007, Halıcı & Cansaran-Duman 2007, Halıcı & Güvenç 2008, Halıcı & Hawksworth 2007, 2008; Halıcı et al. 2007a,b,c,d,e,f,g, 2008; Hawksworth & Halıcı 2007, Hertel & Leuckert 2008, Kınalıoğlu 2007a,b, Oran & Öztürk 2007, Özdemir-Türk et al. 2007, Pišút & Guttová 2008, Printzen 2007, Vondrák & Kocourková 2008, Vondrák et al. 2008a,b, Yazıcı & Aptroot 2008, Yazıcı & Aslan 2007, Yazıcı et al. 2007, 2008). In this present study, some historical collections collected in the last century, which are deposited in herbaria of Natural History Museum Vienna (W) and University of Vienna Herbarium (WU), are re-examined and of these, Lecanora praesistens and Staurothele levinae are reported as new to Turkish lichen biota, whereas other new records are Tephromela cypria and Xanthoparmelia ryssolea, which were collected recently from Afyon province by the author, are deposited at the Aegean University Botanical Garden & Herbarium Research and Application Centre (EGE).

New species and new records of American lichenicolous fungi. – Herzogia 16: 41–90. A total of 153 species of lichenicolous fungi are reported from America. Five species are described as new: Abrothallus pezizicola (on Cladonia peziziformis, USA), Lichenodiplis dendrographae (on Dendrographa, USA), Muellerella lecanactidis (on Lecanactis, USA), Stigmidium pseudopeltideae (on Peltigera, Europe and USA) and Tremella lethariae (on Letharia vulpina, Canada and USA). Six new combinations are proposed: Carbonea aggregantula (= Lecidea aggregantula), Lichenodiplis fallaciosa (= Laeviomyces fallaciosus), L. lecanoricola (= Laeviomyces lecanoricola), L. opegraphae (= Laeviomyces opegraphae), L. pertusariicola (= Spilomium pertusariicola, Laeviomyces pertusariicola) and Phacopsis fusca (= Phacopsis oxyspora var. fusca). The genus Laeviomyces is considered to be a synonym of Lichenodiplis, and a key to all known species of Lichenodiplis and Minutoexcipula is given. The genus Xenonectriella is regarded as monotypic, and all species except the type are provisionally kept in Pronectria. A study of the apothecial pigments does not support the distinction of Nesolechia and Phacopsis. YAKOVCHENKO Abstract: Rhizocarpon smaragdulum Davydov & Yakovchenko sp. nov. is described and a phylogenetic analysis (ITS, mtSSU) is presented, confirming its distinctiveness and indicating a sister relationship with R. suomiense and R. subgeminatum. The species is unique among yellow Rhizocarpon species in having a single hyaline ascospore per ascus. The phylogenetic tree suggests that the number of ascospores per ascus has been reduced in Rhizocarpon more than once during the course of its evolution. Two new distributional records are also reported: Rhizocarpon atroflavescens is new for Siberia and R. norvegicum is new for the Altai Mountains. Rhizocarpon norvegicum in this region grows on rocks and is also lichenicolous on Acarospora bullata. To increase both resolution and support on a large-scale phylogeny of lichenized and non-lichenized ascomycetes, we combined the protein coding-gene RPB2 with the traditionally used nuclear ribosomal genes SSU and LSU. Our analyses resulted in the naming of the new subclasses Acarosporomycetidae and Ostropomycetidae, and the new class Lichinomycetes, as well as the establishment of the phylogenetic placement and novel circumscription of the lichen-forming fungi family Acarosporaceae. The delimitation of this family has been problematic over the past century, because its main diagnostic feature, true polyspory (numerous spores issued from multiple post-meiosis mitoses) with over 100 spores per ascus, is probably not restricted to the Acarosporaceae. This observation was confirmed by our reconstruction of the origin and evolution of this form of true polyspory using maximum likelihood as the optimality criterion.
