L U C R E Z I A D REI – Soprano

One of the most interesting young Italian sopranos, born in Milan, Lucrezia Drei has graduated at the Conservatory G. Verdi of her hometown.

A winner of several competitions, including AsLiCo Competition 2014 and 65° Viotti Competition, at only thirteen she made her operatic debut at Teatro alla Scala in Milano in The Cunning little vixen under the baton of Sir Andrew Davis, followed by Yniold in Pelléas et Mélisande under George Prêtre. In 2016 she attended the Accademia Rossiniana in Pesaro under the guidance of Alberto Zedda. In August 2016 she made her debut at Rossini Opera Festival as Corinna in ll viaggio a Reims. During the season 2014/15 she sang Susanna in Le Nozze di Figaro in the theatres of Pavia, Cremona, Brescia and Como and Die Zauberflöte (1.Dame) at Royal Opera House Muscat. Among her following engagements there are also Adriana Lecouvreur (Mademoiselle Jouvenot) and The Turn of the Screw (Flora) in the theatres of Como, Bergamo, Pavia, Brescia and Cremona, the Reuiem by Faué at Théate du Capitole de Toulouse, Respighi’s La bella dormente nel bosco (Principessa, Fata Azzurra) in St. Petersburg, Don Pasquale (Norina) at Sala Verdi of the Conservatory G. Verdi of Milan. LATEST PERFORMANCES: Rigoletto (Gilda) in Theatres of Pavia, Jesi, Como, Brescia, Cremona and Bergamo; Die lustige Witwe (Valencienne) at Teatro Filarmonico di Verona; Die Entführung aus dem Serail (Blonde) at Savonlinna Festival; Il viaggio a Reims (Corinna) at Teatro Filarmonico di Verona; Die Zauberflöte (Pamina) at Teatro Verdi di Trieste; Poulenc’s Gloria at Teatro Comunale di Bologna; Un ballo in maschera (Oscar) at Teatro dell’Opera di Roma; Mendelssohn’s Midsummer Night's Dream (solista) at Teatro Verdi di Trieste (conducted by Gianluigi Gelmetti).
