Roisin Fitzpatrick – Artist of the Light, a leading contemporary Irish artist, and is delighted to be on permanent exhibition at the Anam Cara Gallery in Greenwich Connecticut.

Following a brain haemorrhage and near-death experience, Róisín Fitzpatrick turned this adversity into a positive life change. Integrating her passion for sharing the beauty of the eternal light, with her business skills from her former professional career (at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development), she has become an internationally successful artist. Passionate about sharing the beauty of the light from her near-death experience, in a way that people can connect with their own inner light, she was inspired to create a series of artworks – the Artist of the Light collection. Róisín’s primary intention through this art is to enhance well- being in both residential and corporate environments. With over ten exhibitions on both sides of the Atlantic over the past few years, including an artwork on permanent display at the National Concert Hall in Dublin, her work has received great critical acclaim.

Today, her artworks, created with finest quality silk and crystals, adorn the homes of celebrities around the world, including Christy O’Connor Jnr., winner of the Ryder Cup, Mark Burnett, TV producer of The Emmys and The Voice, and actress Roma Downey from Touched by an Angel. Roisin's art has been endorsed by New York Times best-selling authors Deepak Chopra and Marianne Williamson. Roisin's art also features at entrepreneur Richard Branson's Natirar Resort near New York and Fitzpatrick's Grand Central Hotel in Manhattan. Roisin’s art was the exclusive stage setting for the Conscious Capitalism Conference at Bentley University in May 2011. She has been a guest speaker at the United Nations SRC Enlightenment Society, the Irish International Business Network and the Irish Business Organization in New York. The Irish Arts Review described her work as ‘Illuminating New York.’ Roisin has done this in more ways than one – by appearing one of the main billboards in Times Square! Giving Back “Over the past few years, one of my greatest joys has been to donate artwork to raise funds for various charities. I have intentionally focused on charities that strive to improve the quality of life for people of all ages by providing hope and inspiration, especially during the most challenging of times.” Roisin regularly donates art to raise funds for many different charities. To date, the art has raised funds for the American Ireland Fund's Barretstown children's camp, Laura Lynn and Jack & Jill projects, Haven (for building homes in Haiti), The Irish Arts Center in New York and for breast cancer awareness.
