FRESHMAN (2016): Aschman started all 18 games as a true freshman on defense for the Buffaloes. She recorded 12 caused turnovers, 11 ground balls and three draw controls. In her fi rst career game, she caused three turnovers and had one ground ball in an 11-10 win at Denver on Feb. 12. Aschman had two caused turnovers each against Marquette on Feb. 28 and against No. 9/8 Stanford in the semifi nals of the MPSF Tournament on April 29. Her season high of two ground balls came in an 18-4 win at Fresno State on Feb. 21.

HIGH SCHOOL: Aschman was fi rst-team all-conference for four years and fi rst-team all-state for three years in high school and earned team MVP for lacrosse her sophomore and senior seasons, earning a total of fi ve letters. She played on the NCISAA State Champions team in 2012 and the TISAC Conference Champions team from 2011-15. The accomplishment she is most proud of is winning the state championship and scoring four goals in the title game. In her career, Aschman tallied 372 points, 109 assists, 263 goals and 218 ground balls. In addition to lacrosse, she played volleyball and ran cross country. In 2014, she was a part of the TISAC Conference Champions team for cross country and was fi fth in the state meet and third in the conference meet. Aschman earned three letters in volleyball as a setter and had greater than a 95 percent serve accuracy.

IN THE CLASSROOM: Aschman is majoring in integrative physiology and psychology.

PERSONAL: Olivia Marie Aschman was born in Raleigh, N.C., on March 7, 1997, to parents Carl and Valarie Aschman. Aschman is a certifi ed lifeguard and swim instructor, and her favorite food is peanut butter. She loves movies, food trucks and going to the beach. After graduation, Aschman would like to pursue a career in the health profession and potentially attend medical school.

JUNIOR (2016): Baker played in 10 games as a midfi elder. She recorded two ground balls, two draw controls and caused two turnovers. She had two ground balls and a caused turnover in a 15-3 win over Central Connecticut on March 5. She recorded a caused turnover in a 19-4 win over Marist on March 21 and had a draw control each in wins against San Diego State and Saint Mary’s (Calif.). She also earned MPSF all-academic honors for the second year in a row.

SOPHOMORE (2015): This season Baker played in 15 games, with starts in 12. Once again she was an important part of the Buffs defense and scooped up ten ground balls, tallied nine draw controls, and caused six turnovers. In addition to her strong performance on the fi eld, Baker worked hard in classes as well and earned a spot on the MPSF All-Academic Team. She had a season-high two ground balls twice, tallying a pair in a 13-5 win over Marquette on Feb. 14 and again in a 17-7 win over UMass Lowell on March 27. Her three draw controls in a win over Saint Mary's (Calif.) on April 17 were also a season high.

FRESHMAN (2014): Baker was an important part of Colorado’s inaugural season. She was one of seven Buffs to start all 19 games in 2014. Baker ranked or tied for third on the team with 31 ground balls, 30 draw controls and 14 caused turnovers. She had at least one ground ball in all but three games and at least one draw control in all but four. Baker had a strong end to the season, scooping up two or more ground balls in each of the Buffs’ fi nal fi ve games. She had a standout performance in the fi rst round of the MPSF Tournament, grabbing fi ve ground balls and controlling four draws, while also causing a turnover.

HIGH SCHOOL: Baker excelled as a four-year letter-winner at Bay Shore. The Marauders won two Suffolk County Championships in a three year span, taking home titles in 2010 and 2013. The team also won the Long Island Championship in 2012. In Bakers’ fi nal two seasons of lacrosse at Bay Shore, she received back-to-back honors as an All-County selection, an Academic All-American and an MVP. As a junior, she was also an All-Tournament and National School Girls second-team selection. Baker played on the Long Island Top Guns club and competed in three sports at Bay Shore in addition to lacrosse. In the No. 1 singles and doubles positions in tennis, she was a four-time All- County selection, was named team captain and MVP her junior and senior seasons and received All-League honors her freshman year. In her fourth season with the basketball team, Baker was honored an Academic All-County selection. Baker also did a season of winter track.

JUNIOR (2016): Brown saw action in 18 games with 11 starts as a midfi elder. She had nine ground balls, two caused turnovers, two draw controls and one shot attempt. She had a ground ball and caused a turnover at No. 7/6 Notre Dame on Feb. 26. She recorded a ground ball in her fi rst start of the season, a 10-8 win at Marquette on Feb. 28. She had two ground balls each at No. 7/15 Northwestern and against Saint Mary’s (Calif.). Brown started 11 straight games from Feb. 28 to April 17.

SOPHOMORE (2015): Brown played in 11 games as a sophomore and started in one. She took four shots and scored one goal, scooped up four ground balls and won one draw control. Brown earned a start in the season-opener against No. 19 Denver and scored her lone goal of the season in a 13-5 win over Marquette on Feb. 14. She helped the Buffs to an 11-7 overall season record and remains an important part of CU’s offense.

FRESHMAN (2014): Brown played in all 19 of the Buffs’ games her freshman season, making 16 starts, including starting all 15 of the Buffs’ fi nal games. Brown ranked in the team’s top six with 20 points off 15 goals and fi ve assists. She took 31 shots, sending an impressive 26 on goal, and went 3-for-6 from the 8-meter arc. Additionally, Brown had 14 ground balls, 11 draw controls and three caused turnovers. Brown got her fi rst assist against Regis, and continued to earn points in the next three games, scoring a goal and adding an assist against Temple and scoring against Fresno State and Massachusetts. Brown went on another scoring spree later in the season, earning points in eight of the Buffs’ fi nal 10 games. She netted a season-high four goals against St. Mary’s, becoming one of just four Buffs to score four or more goals in a single game. She was named to the Boston Globe All-Scholastic Alpine Ski Team all four years and earned their Skier of the Year title as a junior. She was an individual state champion for slalom in 2011 and competed in the Junior Olympics for alpine in 2009 and 2010. Brown also played four years as a defender and midfi elder for Notre Dame Academy's soccer team, contributing eight assists as the 2012 captain. Her accomplishments on the ski slopes and both lacrosse and soccer fi elds helped her to the Notre Dame Academy Outstanding Athlete Award, given to the school’s top athlete over a four-year career.

PERSONAL: Amelia Brown is the daughter of Steve and Shelia Brown. Brown was born on January 10, 1995. Her father is the senior vice president of UBS Financial Services. Brown's grandfather, Wilbur Brown, played football, basketball and baseball at the Maine Maritime Academy, and her uncle, Tony McLaughlin, played basketball at Roger Williams College. She is a descendant of George Soule, who came to Plymouth, Mass. on the Mayfl ower. Brown has worked as a lacrosse camp counselor and volunteered for the Children's Well-Being Foundation. Brown hopes to join the Peace Corp after graduation. Her favorite athlete is Lindsey Vonn, and she likes the music of Dave Matthews. She's a Boston Bruins fan who enjoys skiing and snowboarding.

SOPHOMORE (2016): Brown emerged as the team’s top defender, earning fi rst-team All-MPSF and IWLCA second-team All-West/Midwest Region honors, while starting all 18 games. She matched up with the opposing team’s top player in every game and shattered the school record for caused turnovers, fi nishing with 29 to break the previous mark of 18. She also had 46 draw controls and 24 ground balls, while pushing forward in transition to earn six assists. For the season, she ranked third in the MPSF and 34th nationally in caused turnovers per game (1.61), and ninth in the MPSF and 92nd nationally in draw controls per game (2.56). In addition to leading the team in caused turnovers, she was third on the team in draw controls and fi fth in ground balls. Her six assists were best among the team’s defensive players. In her fi rst career start on Feb. 12, she led the Buffs to an 11-10 win at Denver with three caused turnovers, three draw controls, two ground balls and an assist, while forcing a turnover in the fi nal minute to seal the victory. She went on to be named MPSF Defensive Player of the Week on Feb. 15. Brown tied the school record with four caused turnovers and also had four draw controls in a 15-14 overtime win over James Madison on March 3. She recorded an assist in back-to-back games on March 5 and March 21 in wins over Central Connecticut and Marist, totaling fi ve caused turnovers, four draw controls and three ground balls as the Buffs allowed just seven combined goals in those two games. Her fourth assist of the year came in a 16-3 win over San Diego State on April 10. She had a season-high fi ve draw controls in a 23-0 shutout against Saint Mary’s (Calif.) on April 15 and then had an assist, two draw controls, two ground balls and a caused turnover in a 16-4 win over California on April 17. colorado lacrosse 15 FRESHMAN (2015): Brown played a total of two games for the Buffs in her fi rst year and earned one point and two ground balls. In her debut as a Buff, she scored a goal against Presbyterian on March 2 to help CU to a 19-0 win.

HIGH SCHOOL: A local product, Brown lettered four years at Boulder High School before deciding to become a Buff. As a senior Brown was selected as a fi rst team All-American as well as fi rst team All-State, leading the Panthers to a 16-2 record and Metro League Championship. In her junior season Brown was named MVP of a team that fi nished 14-3 as well as once again being named to the All-American team and second team All-State team. Brown was also fi rst team All-Conference for the 2013 season and she led the state in points scored. Her sophomore season was highlighted by a Jeffco League Championship as Brown helped the Panthers to a 13-5 record. She was named to the fi rst team All-Conference team and was the recipient of the mental toughness award named by her coaches.

PERSONAL: Born on July 3, 1995 in Cohasset, Mass. Brown is the daughter of Mitch Brown and Angela Moss. Brown loves to sing and in her spare time plays in a band with her sisters. Her father, Mitch, lettered in football and wrestling at Saint Lawrence University and was a three-time All-American. Brown is a big football fan of both the New England Patriots and Denver Broncos, with her favorite athlete being Patriots’ tight end Rob Gronkowski. She enjoys listening to music to relax, particularly Rascal Flatts and The Neighborhood.

JUNIOR (2016): Castagnola remained a key part of the team’s offense, despite seeing action in mostly a reserve role. She played in all 18 games and earned four starts as an attacker, scoring 28 goals with seven assists for 35 points. She also attempted 54 shots, including 45 on goal and had a team-high fi ve game-winning goals, while converting 9-of-14 free-position shots. Castagnola also added 10 ground balls, three caused turnovers and two draw controls. In addition to leading the team in game-winning goals, she was third on the team in goals and fourth in points. She ranked fi fth in the MPSF and 92nd nationally in free-position goals per game (0.50). She started the year off in record fashion, breaking a pair of school marks in a season-opening 11-10 win at Denver. Castagnola scored the fastest consecutive goals in school history (11 seconds apart at 27:57 and 27:46 of the fi rst half; broken later in the year by Johnna Fusco) and the earliest hat track (5:15 into the game). She fi nished the game with three goals and an assist, while earning a ground ball and a draw control in her fi rst start of the year. Her efforts won her CU Female Athlete of the Week on Feb. 15. She backed that up with three goals and four assists in an 18-4 win at Fresno State on Feb. 21, scoring two free-position goals. Her three ground balls in a 10-8 win at Marquette on Feb. 28 were a season high and she also added two goals, including the game-winner in that victory. Castagnola had season highs of four goals and two assists for six points and scored the game-winning goal in overtime for a thrilling 15-14 win over James Madison on March 3. She also scored three goals and had the game-winning goals in wins over Michigan and Oregon, the latter coming in the quarterfi nals of the MPSF Tournament on April 28.

She was the fi rst Buff to ever score a goal (18:43 remaining at Stetson), the fi rst to score off a free-position goal and the fi rst to record a hat trick (completed just three minutes after her fi rst goal). In the Buffs’ inaugural game, Castagnola score four goals off fi ve shots, caused two turnovers and recorded one ground ball and one draw control. Her success would only progress throughout the season. She tied for fi rst on the team with 12 free-position goals, ranked second with 47 points and 39 goals and ranked third with eight assists, 63 shots and 55 shots on goal. One of seven Buffs to start all 19 games, Castagnola also ranked in the MPSF top eight in free-position goals per game and goals per game. She went 12-for-17 from the 8-meter arc and tallied 10 ground balls, nine caused turnovers, eight assists, four draw controls and two game-winning goals. Castagnola had fi ve games with four or more goals and had scoring streaks for three or more games on four separate occasions. She notched a season-high six points (fi ve goals and one assist) and two ground balls against Temple and netted four goals against Fresno State. She had a season- high seven shots in those back-to-back games, helping her to a WomensLAX.com Rookie of the Week honor.

HIGH SCHOOL: In four seasons with the varsity lacrosse team, Castagnola racked up over 150 goals and 70 assists. All four years, Castagnola was named a California Scholastic Federation honoree and North Coast Section Scholar Athlete. For the three consecutive years, Carondelet claimed the NCS championship, and Castagnola was named to the CIF Scholastic Championship Team. She was also a three-time Distinguished Scholastic Team selection. In her sophomore and junior seasons, she helped the team to back-to-back East Bay Athletic League Championships, tallying a 42-4 overall record. As a senior, she received fi rst-team All-East Bay and second-team EBAL honors. Castagnola also claimed the Coaches Award in recognition of the 2011- 13 NCS Playoffs/Championships, where she scored 42 goals and contributed 12 assists. Her junior year, Castagnola earned EBAL fi rst-team, Under Armour West Elite Team and Contra Costa Times All-County second-team honors. She was named the Lacrosse Magazine Player to Watch in March 2012 and earned Max Prep and ESPN Regional Girls' Athlete of the Week honors for her performance during the 2012 NCS Championship game. As a sophomore, she was named a Sportstars Athlete of the Week and the KCBS athlete of the NCS Championship Game. Castagnola was also a letter-winner in tennis.

PERSONAL: Cali Terese Castagnola was born on June 1, 1994 to Mark and Lynne Castagnola. She has worked as a soccer referee, and enjoys skiing and water skiing, the movie Bridesmaids and country singer Jason Aldean. Her favorite team is the San Francisco Giants. She was a class representative from 2010-12. She was highly recruited, but chose CU because she liked the school and the beautiful area. She is excited to be a part of a new program and to play for coach Elliott.

FRESHMAN (2016): Castillo enjoyed a solid freshman season, appearing in 14 of the team’s 18 games and starting twice as an attacker. She scored 10 goals and had two assists for 12 points, while attempting 24 shots, including 17 on goal. Castillo also had eight ground balls, two caused turnovers and one draw control. She started the fi rst game of her career, an 11-10 win at Denver, and helped the Buffs to the one-goal victory with two goals and fi ve shot attempts. She backed that up with a goal, two assists and a season-high four ground balls in an 18-4 win at Fresno State the following game, her second start of her career on Feb. 21. She had a single goal in three straight games against Central Connecticut, Marist and UC Davis—all wins. Castillo had back-to-back two-goal games in April. She scored twice in a 16-3 win over San Diego State on April 10 and then had two more in a 23-0 win over Saint Mary’s (Calif.) on April 15, while attempting a season-high six shots.

HIGH SCHOOL: Castillo earned four letters on her lacrosse team at Parkland High School in Allentown, Pa., tallying 271 career goals and 114 career assists. She was named league MVP and Morning Call Player of the Year her sophomore, junior and senior seasons. Castillo played on the 2014 League and District Champion teams and the 2015 League Champion team and holds the record for most goals and assists in the district. In addition to lacrosse, she played basketball as a shooting guard.

HIGH SCHOOL: Collawn graduated from Ravenscroft School in 2016 where she was a fi ve-year letterwinner. She was named all-state three times and all-conference four times, while leading Ravenscroft to a state championship in 2012. At CU, she will be reunited with her high school teammate Olivia Aschman, who is one year older. Collawn was an excellent all-around athlete, also lettering fi ve years and being a three-time all-state award winner in fi eld hockey and lettering one year in basketball.

SOPHOMORE (2016): Cox played a key role in CU’s big offensive season as she started all 18 games as an attacker and scored 26 goals and had 13 assists for 39 points. She also attempted 40 shots, including 36 on goal. She added 11 ground balls, three caused turnovers and one game-winning goal. She fi nished second on the team in assists, third in points and fi fth in goals scored. Cox was consistent all season and was the only Buff to record a point in each of the team’s 18 games. She scored two goals in an 18-4 win over Fresno State on Feb. 21. She also scored twice in a 10-8 win at Marquette on Feb. 28, following that up with three goals in a 15- 14 overtime win against James Madison on March 3. She also had two ground balls each in those two games. Cox scored twice and assisted on another goal in a 15-3 win over Central Connecticut on March 5, starting a string of four straight games with at least one assist. She matched her season high with three goals and an assist for four points on March 21 in a 19-4 win against Marist. Cox recorded her third hat trick of the year with three scores, including the game-winner, and two ground balls in a 14-3 win at UC Davis on April 1. She matched her season high with four points off two goals and two assists in a 14-9 win in a 14-9 win at Oregon to wrap up the regular season on April 24. Cox also had two-goal games against No. 12/10 Stanford, Saint Mary’s (Calif.) and Oregon (in the MPSF semifi nals). She earned MPSF All-Academic honors as well.

FRESHMAN (2015): Cox played in all 18 games and started in 17, completing a stellar freshman season with the Buffs. She led the team with 21 assists, ranking seventh in the MPSF in assists per game (1.17). With a total of seven goals and her 21 assists she fi nished with 28 points, ranking sixth on the team. Cox had a season-high four assists in a 21-5 win over Saint Mary's (Calif.) on April 17. She had two assists six times during the year, all coming in wins against New Hampshire, Michigan, UMass Lowell, UC Davis, Oregon and San Diego State. She was also all-county as a junior and all-classifi cation and MVP as a senior, setting a single season dig record. In four years with the basketball team, Cox played both point and shooting guard and earned all-league and MVP honors in back-to-back seasons. She also excelled academically, earning a spot on the honor as a sophomore and junior and the high honor roll as a senior.

PERSONAL: Carly Cox was born on December 15, 1995, to parents Timothy and Eileen Cox. Her father played lacrosse at SUNY Cortland, and her brother Kevin currently plays lacrosse at Manhattan College. Cox enjoys going to the beach and playing basketball and volleyball. Her favorite movie is Forgetting Sarah Marshall and her favorite team is the New York Jets. Cox chose Colorado because of the opportunity to be a part of a new program. She says CU has everything she was looking for academically and athletically.

JUNIOR (2016): DeWinter played in nine games as a reserve midfi elder, fi nishing with two goals, one assist, three points, four shot attempts, six ground balls, three draw controls and three caused turnovers. She continued to be a leader off the fi eld, posting a 3.91 GPA to earn MPSF All-Academic honors. DeWinter had two ground balls, a draw control and a caused turnover in an 18-4 win at Fresno State on Feb. 21. She recorded her fi rst assist of the year in a 14-3 win over UC Davis on April 1, adding a ground ball and caused turnover. She had her fi rst career two-goal game on April 15 in a 23-0 win over Saint Mary’s (Calif.), also contributing two ground balls and a draw control.

SOPHOMORE (2015): DeWinter played in all 18 of the Buffs’ games with six starts. She tallied 12 ground balls, six draw controls, and seven caused turnovers. She was a vital part of the Buffs’ defense this season and earned a spot on the MPSF All-Academic Team with a 3.88 GPA. DeWinter had a season-high three ground balls against Boston College on March 25 and also had two against New Hampshire and UC Davis. She totaled two draw controls against UMass Lowell and No. 15 Stanford as well.

FRESHMAN (2014): DeWinter played in all 19 of the Buffs’ games, making 18 starts in her rookie season. DeWinter tied a team-high with 15 caused turnovers and ranked in the top fi ve with 28 ground balls and 11 draw controls. DeWinter had at least one caused turnover in 11 games, recording two on four separate occasions. She was the only CU defender to score in 2014, netting a goal and contributing two assists. She took her fi rst collegiate shot against Brown, and had a career performance just one game later. PERSONAL: Madison DeWinter was born on October 10, 1994, to Mark and Sue DeWinter, a business owner and a computer software programmer. She enjoys horseback riding and snowboarding. Her favorite subject is science, and her favorite books are the Harry Potter series. The Colorado native loves the Avalanche, Rockies and Broncos and looks up to Olympic swimmer Missy Franklin. DeWinter chose CU for the engineering program, proximity to the mountains and the opportunity to a part of a brand new program. She is a member of the National Honor Society and has received an Academic Excellence Award in science.

SOPHOMORE (2016): Evensen appeared in three games as a reserve. She recorded a ground ball in a 23-0 win over Saint Mary’s (Calif.). She also played against Denver and Marist.

FRESHMAN (2015): Evensen played in four games her fi rst season with CU and had two shots on goal and one ground ball. Both of her shot attempts and her ground ball came at No. 7 Northwestern on March 7. She helped the Buffs to end the season with an 11-7 overall record.

HIGH SCHOOL: Evensen had an outstanding career, competing in lacrosse, alpine skiing and cross country. Playing every fi eld position in lacrosse, Evensen helped the Ponies to four consecutive state championships, helping Stillwater to its fi rst ever state appearance as a freshman. The squad also won four straight conference and section championships. Her team captain as a senior, she led the Ponies to a 16-3 record and was named an All-Conference honorable mention. Evensen also competed with two lacrosse clubs: the Minnesota Lakers from 2009-10 and the Minnesota Elite from 2010-14. On the mountain, Evensen helped the alpine skiing team to four consecutive conference championships and the 2013 section championship. She earned All-Conference honors for skiing in three seasons. She was also successful in the classroom, earning academic recognition for the lacrosse and ski teams four and three years in a row, respectively.

IN THE CLASSROOM: Evensen is majoring in accounting and fi nanace.

PERSONAL: Sydney Evensen was born on June 27, 1996, to parents Dale and Kerry Evensen, who both work as lawyers. Her father played football at St. Olaf. Her cousin Brooke Evensen is a member of Iowa State’s swim team. After graduation, Evensen would like to work in international sales. In high school, she worked at an ice cream shop. Evensen enjoys skiing (both on the water and the mountains), surfi ng, wake boarding and running. Her favorite teams are Minnesota’s Wild and Vikings, and her favorite athlete is Adrian Peterson.

JUNIOR (2016): Fusco continued to be a major factor for the Buffaloes up and down the fi eld, earning second-team all-MPSF. She played in 16 games with 14 starts as an attacker, scoring 33 goals with 11 assists for 44 points. She also had 90 shot attempts, including 56 on goal and two game-winning goals. Fusco fi nished the year 14-for-25 on free-position shots and also added 18 ground balls, 15 draw controls and 12 caused turnovers. She led the team in shot attempts and free-position goals, was second in points, goals and shots on goal, third in assists and game-winning goals, and fourth in draw controls. She ranked second in the MPSF and ninth nationally in free-position goals per game (0.88); third in the MPSF and 20th nationally in free-position percentage (.560); fi fth in the MPSF and 97th nationally in goals per game (2.06); sixth in the MPSF and 124th nationally in points per game (2.75); and ninth in the MPSF and 146th nationally in total goals scored. She had two goals at No. 7/6 Notre Dame before catching fi re for three games. Fusco scored four goals in three consecutive games Feb. 28 at Marquette, March 3 against James Madison and March 21 against Marist—all wins. She broke the school record for fastest consecutive goals by the same player, scoring twice in nine seconds (26:01 and 25:52 of the fi rst half) at Marist. She also had a season-high six ground balls against Marquette and added two draw controls and a caused turnover. She attempted a season-high 12 shots, assisted on another goal, and had three draw controls and three ground balls in an overtime win over JMU. In her fi nal game of the streak, she contributed two assists for a season-high six points. Fusco netted a hat trick and had an assist for four points in a 14-3 win at UC Davis on 10 shot attempts on April 1. She scored three times again against No. 7/6 Southern California on April 8 and then had four goals again in a 16-3 win over San Diego State on April 10. For her efforts, she was named MPSF Offensive Player of the Week on April 11. After scoring one goal and adding three ground balls in a 10-9 win over New Hampshire, she had another multi-goal game, scoring twice in a 14-13 double-overtime victory at Michigan. She had her third four-goal game of the season at No. 2 Boston College on March 25, with all four coming as free-position goals. Fusco then helped the Buffs to a 17-7 win at UMass Lowell with three goals, before her fi nal four-goal game of the season in a win over UC Davis on April 3. She had another strong match in a tight 16-14 loss to No. 13 Stanford with a season-high eight draw controls, three goals and one assist on April 5. She scored twice at Southern California and scored three goals in wins over Fresno State (April 24) and San Diego State (April 30, MPSF Tournament fi rst round). Fusco also scored game-winning goals against San Diego State (April 12) and Fresno State. Her six ground balls in a win over Oregon on April 26 were a season high. For the season, she totaled 48 draw controls to fi nish second on the team and had 19 ground balls. Fusco had 15 multi-point games, 12 multi-goal games and two multi-assist games.

FRESHMAN (2014): Fusco was the most dominant offensive force for the Buffs. She led the team in points (62), goals (45), shots attempted (95) and shots on goal (77), tied for the lead in free-position goals (12) and assists (17), ranked second in ground balls (33) and draw controls (50) and fourth in caused turnovers (12). She ranked in the MPSF top six in goals, free-position goals, points and shots per game and game-winning goals (three). Fusco scored in all but two of her 18 games played (15 starts), picking up fi ve hat tricks and scoring four or more goals in four other games. She had six or more points in six games and two or more assists in fi ve. Fusco holds the top three spots on the CU single game list for shots, taking seven or more in seven different games. Fusco was a three-time MPSF Rookie of the Week honoree (earning the title more than any other newcomer), claiming the title in both the fi rst and last weeks of the regular season. She earned her fi rst ROW title after the Buffs’ inaugural weekend. Against Stetson and Jacksonville, she led the Buffs with nine points off fi ve goals and four assists. She got her second title after working as a key piece to CU’s late comeback against Brown. Through the Bears claimed the victory, Fusco scored four goals, all coming during CU’s 8-1 run in the fi nal 12:30 of the game. Fusco won the fi nal title of the season for recording a game-high six points off of fi ve goals and an assist in CU’s sudden victory over Oregon. She also had a team-high fi ve draw controls and added a ground ball and a caused turnover. Fusco set CU single game records against UC Davis, with eight points, off fi ve goals and three assists, and 13 shots. Fusco continued to shine in the postseason, scoring fi ve goals, adding three assists and winning three draws, helping the Buffs to the MPSF Tournament semifi nal and earning a spot on the All-Tournament team.

HIGH SCHOOL: Fusco was a two-time All-American and a four-year letter-winner at Lassiter. She set all-time school records with 177 goals, 163 assists, 340 points and 310 groundballs. In her fi rst two seasons alone, she had already broken into the top 10 in Lassiter’s career record books in goals and points. She helped lead the Lady Trojans to a 78-12 record in her four seasons, including a state runner-up fi nish her freshman and senior seasons and a quarterfi nal berth as a sophomore. Her senior year, she recorded 48 goals and 71 assists, helping her to the 2013 Marietta Daily Journal/Cobb County Girls Lacrosse Player of the Year title. She was a back-to-back fi rst-team all- state honoree her fi nal two seasons, also earning second-team and honorable mention honors as a sophomore and freshman, respectively. Fusco was also a four-year letter-winner for Lassiter’s cheer squad.

SOPHOMORE (2015): Gambitsky saw time in the goal for four games, totaling 74:12. She racked up seven saves and did a great job of protecting the goal after facing 14 shots, earning a save percentage of .700 and a stingy goals-against average of 2.43. She saw a season-high 30 minutes in goal on March 2 in a 19-0 win over Presbyterian, making three saves to protect the fi rst shutout in CU history. She also had clean sheets in reserve action against Southern California and Saint Mary's (Calif.).

FRESHMAN (2014): Gambitsky saw action in the crease in four games, totaling 75:45. She recorded a 6.34 goals-against average. She faced 19 shots and made seven saves for a .467 save percentage. Gambitsky made her Colorado debut in the Buffs’ inaugural game, allowing a single goal off four shots faced in just over seven minutes played in the 12-4 victory over Stetson. Gambitsky got her fi rst save in the Buffs’ fi rst home game, a 13-10 win over Regis. She substituted in for the second half against both Brown and St. Mary’s. Against the SMC Gaels, Gambitsky grabbed a season-high four saves and posted a .467 save percentage.

HIGH SCHOOL: Gambitsky was a four-year letter-winner, three-time Scholar Athlete and two-time All-County honoree at Wantagh. In her fi nal season, she was her team’s captain. Gambitsky helped lead the Warriors to the Class B Division Championship her junior year and the semi-fi nals in 2010, 2012 and 2013. • 2016 All-MPSF All-Academic Team SOPHOMORE (2016): Garrison started all 18 games on defense and had 39 ground balls, 22 caused turnovers, 13 draw controls and one goal. She fi nished the season sixth in the MPSF and 80th nationally in ground balls per game and was eighth in the MPSF and 102nd nationally in caused turnovers per game. Garrison was second on the team in ground balls, third in caused turnovers and fi fth in draw controls. She was also the only defender on the team to score a goal. Garrison was key in CU’s season-opening 11-10 win at Denver on Feb. 12, recording four draw controls and two ground balls. She had four ground balls and three caused turnovers in a 10-8 win at Marquette on Feb. 28. Her most productive game came on April 10 in a 16-3 win over San Diego State when she had four ground balls, three caused turnovers and one draw control. She scored her fi rst career goal and had two ground balls in an 11-3 win over Oregon in the MPSF Tournament quarterfi nals and recorded a season-high fi ve ground balls in the semifi nals at No. 9/8 Stanford. She was a key part of CU’s outstanding defense, which ranked second in the MPSF and seventh nationally by allowing just 7.00 goals per game. Also an excellent student, she was named to the MPSF All-Academic Team.

FRESHMAN (2015): Garrison played in all 18 games her fi rst year with the Buffs and started 16 of those. She helped defend the goal to keep CU’s opponents limited to an average of 9.22 goals scored per game and help CU to an 11-7 overall record. Her efforts helped the Buffs rank third in the MPSF in goals- against average (9.16) and fi fth in turnovers caused per game (7.56). Individually, Garrison had 22 ground balls for the season and caused 11 turnovers. She had a season-high three ground balls twice, coming in wins over Michigan and UC Davis. She caused three turnovers twice as well, coming in wins over San Diego State and Oregon.

HIGH SCHOOL: Garrison earned three letters on her lacrosse team at Agoura High School in Agoura Hills, Calif., tallying 88 goals and 34 assists in three seasons. She holds the record for the most goals scored in one game at her high school. In her senior year, she earned a handful of honors including midfi eld MVP for lacrosse, was the Jackie Pitts award recipient and named 2014 Agoura High School Athlete of the Year. JUNIOR (2016): Hunt became signifi cant contributor on CU’s defense as the season wore on, appearing in 10 games as a defender and making one start. She totaled three ground balls, three caused turnovers and one draw control. She made her fi rst start of the year in the quarterfi nals of the MPSF Tournament, an 11-3 win over Oregon where she had one draw control. During the season, she had ground balls against Central Connecticut, San Diego State and Saint Mary’s (Calif.), and caused turnovers against Central Connecticut, Marist and Saint Mary’s.

SOPHOMORE (2015): In her sophomore season, Hunt remained an important defensive player for CU. She played in four games and scooped up three ground balls. The Buffs earned victories in every game Hunt played in and she helped them to an 11-7 overall season. All three of her ground balls came as part of a 16-7 win over Fresno State on April 24 and she also caused a turnover in the game.

FRESHMAN (2014): Hunt started 17 of 18 games played her freshman season. She was an important defensive presence, causing 10 turnovers (ranking fi fth on the squad) and scooping up 16 ground balls. Hunt had a strong debut, recording two ground balls and a season-high three caused turnovers in the Buffs’ inaugural game at Stetson. Hunt had a strong performance in the MPSF Tournament, matching a season-high three ground balls, winning two draws and causing a turnover.

HIGH SCHOOL: Hunt was a four-year letter-winner in three sports. In lacrosse, she helped Catonsville to back-to-back Maryland 4A Regional Championships in 2012 and 2013, after going .500 or under in her fi rst two seasons with the team. Hunt received back-to-back All-Division I honors and was named the Catonsville Co-Athlete of the Year her senior season. She was also a three-time All-Academic selection. She scored her fi rst two career goals in a 13-5 win over Marquette on Feb. 14 and had her fi rst hat trick the following game in a 19-0 win over Presbyterian, as well as her fi rst two career assists for fi ve points. Kiernan scored twice at No. 7 Northwestern, adding four ground balls. She had her second hat trick of the year and assisted on another goal in a 10-9 win over New Hampshire on March 17. Kiernan had her fi rst of three fi ve-goal games and scored the game-winner in a 14-13 double-overtime win at Michigan on March 22, playing a strong all-around game with fi ve draw controls and four ground balls. She had six points after scoring four goals and adding two assists to beat UMass Lowell 17-7 on March 27 and had another four-goal game against Southern California. Kiernan had three straight fi ve-point games late in the year with three goals, two assists and a season-high three caused turnovers against Saint Mary's (Calif.) on April 17, fi ve goals and a season-high six draw controls against California on April 19, and four goals, an assist, and a season-high fi ve ground balls against Fresno State on April 24. Kiernan tied a season-high six points with fi ve goals and an assist in the fi rst round of the MPSF Tournament to top San Diego State 15-6 and scored two goals against No. 15 Stanford in the semifi nals to earn her MPSF All-Tournament accolade. She scored the game-winners against Presbyterian, Michigan, Oregon and San Diego State (April 30). For the season, she also totaled 41 draw controls, 37 ground balls and 17 caused turnovers.

HIGH SCHOOL: Kiernan excelled on both the lacrosse and soccer fi elds at Ridgewood. Setting a school record with 240 draw controls, she helped the lacrosse team to a 79-14 record. The Maroons were NJSIAA Group State Champions in 2011 and ’12, NJSIAA Group Section Champions from 2011-13 and Bergen County Women’s Coaches Champions four years running. Kiernan was named the Bergen Record Sophomore of the Year in 2012, earning second-team All-County, All-League and All-Suburban honors. That season she set a school record with 100 draw controls and earned a spot on the School Girls Team 2. An MVP as a junior, Kiernan led the team in draw controls (73), goals (62), ground balls (44) and assists (24). She was also School Girls Team 1 selection. Kiernan earned fi rst-team All-County, All-League, All-North Jersey, All-Suburban and MSG All-Tri State honors her fi nal two seasons, capping her career with a fi rst-team All-America honor as a senior. Her fi nal season, she was the Bergen Record Player of the Year, earning MVP and second-team All-State honors. The 2014 co-captain, she led the team with 97 draw controls, 76 goals, 34 assists and 32 draw controls. Kiernan also competed with the STEPS A Team in club lacrosse for six years. With the Ridgewood soccer team, Kiernan was a three-time NJGSCA Top 20 All-North Jersey and fi rst- team All-State North Sectional selection, leading the team in points each season. She earned three consecutive All Conference Big North Freedom Division fi rst-team honors (fi rst team as a sophomore and senior and second team as a junior). HIGH SCHOOL: Kingdom is a 2016 graduate of New Trier Township High School, where she was named fi rst-team all-state as a senior and honorable mention all-state as a junior. A three-year letterwinner, she led New Trier to a 59-5 record over her three seasons. Kingdom lists beating their rival Loyola by one point as a sophomore as the biggest moment of her prep career as it was the fi rst team New Trier had defeated Loyola in six years. She was also a three-year letterwinner in fi eld hockey and led her team to state championships in 2014 and 2015. An excellent student, she earned all-academic honors all three seasons.

PERSONAL: Audrey Easterday Kingdom was born on Dec. 16, 1997 to Scott and Therese Kingdom. Her father played on year of football at CU in 1980 as a quarterback and made six appearances, throwing for 619 yards and three touchdowns. Her sister Grace is a member of the golf team at Richmond. She chose CU because she wanted to play her favorite sport in her favorite place.

JUNIOR (2016): Knapp played in four games as a junior. She saw action against Denver, Central Connecticut, Marist and Saint Mary’s (Calif.)—all wins. She also attempted a shot against Saint Mary’s.

SOPHOMORE (2015): Knapp was on the fi eld for four games in her sophomore season. She had one assist and two shots. She helped the Buffs to victories in all the games she played and they ended the season 11-7 overall. Her lone assist came in a 17-7 win over UMass Lowell on March 27.

FRESHMAN (2014): Knapp played in four games as a freshman. She made her collegiate debut in the Buffs’ fi rst ever home game, a 13-10 victory over Regis. She saw action in two MPSF matches, helping the Buffs to dominant wins over St. Mary’s and UC Davis.

HIGH SCHOOL: In four seasons at Rumson-Fair Haven Regional, Knapp scored 84 goals and contributed 41 assists for a total of 125 points. She had a strong senior season, scoring 25 goals and adding 15 assists. Knapp helped lead the Bulldogs to three New Jersey Shore Conference Championship titles in 2010, 2011 and 2013. Knapp and the Bulldogs also took home a Division Championship in 2013 and made their third South New Jersey Group II State Championship appearance, taking home the runner-up prize, after winning the title in 2010 and 2011. Knapp spent fi ve years with the T3 Elite Lacrosse Club, helping the team to the 2102 Best of the Beach Championship and a runner-up fi nish in the Lax Inception Tournament. Knapp also competed in cross country, helping the team to consecutive state and conference championships.

SOPHOMORE (2015): Link came onto the fi eld for ten games, including both of CU's MPSF Tournament games. She scored seven goals and had 15 shot attempts, including 12 on goal. The midfi elder had fi ve ground balls and fi ve draw controls. Overall, Link had another solid season and was named MPSF All- Academic Team. She scored her fi rst two goals of the season on March 2 in a win over Presbyterian. She scored goals in four consecutive games late in the season in wins over Saint Mary's (Calif.) (April 17), Fresno State, Oregon State, and capped it off with a pair of scores in a win over San Diego State in the fi rst round of the MPSF Tournament.

FRESHMAN (2014): Coming off the bench for 16 games, including both of CU’s MPSF Tournament games, Link had a solid freshman season. She recorded seven points off six goals and one assist, taking 18 shots and sending 13 on goal. Link was also an impressive 2-for-3 in free-position shots. Link scored her fi rst goal in just her second game, helping CU to a 13-10 victory over Regis. She recorded two points in two different games, netting two goals against Fresno State and scoring a goal, contributing an assist and scooping up a ground ball against St. Mary’s.

HIGH SCHOOL: Link helped Cherry Creek to four straight Colorado state championships, including titles in 2010, 2011 and 2013. Her freshman season, the Bruins had a perfect 19-0 season. Link earned fi rst-team all-league honors in back-to-back seasons as a junior and senior and was an honorable mention as a sophomore. Link was also named honorable mention all-state and Academic All-State as a senior. FRESHMAN (2016): Lisella played in two games as a freshman and served as the team’s backup goalkeeper throughout the season. She did not allow a goal and had two saves in 36:19 of action, facing three shots. She stopped one shot in just over six minutes of action in a 19-4 win over Marist on March 21. She played the entire second half of a 23-0 win over Saint Mary’s (Calif.) on April 15 and made one save to preserve the shutout.

HIGH SCHOOL: Lisella earned four letters in lacrosse playing goalie at Columbine High School in Littleton, Colo. Her junior year she was the top-ranked goalie in the state and 12th in the nation, and in 2015, she and her team won the league championship. In her fi nal season, she was named Jeffco League MVP, earned All-Colorado honors and was named an All-American honorable mention. In addition to lacrosse, Lisella played softball and basketball.

IN THE CLASSROOM: Lisella is majoring in speech, language and hearing sciences.

PERSONAL: Julia Rea Lisella was born in Denver, Colo. on December 12, 1996, to parents John and Michelle Lisella. Over the summer, Lisella coached lacrosse. Her favorite food is steak and potatoes and her favorite movie is Friday Night Lights. Her favorite football team is the Denver Broncos and her older brother is an offensive lineman on the CU football team, John Lisella Jr. After graduation, Lisella would like to become a physical therapist.

JUNIOR (2016): Macleay emerged as the team’s top playmaker behind the net and played in 17 games with 16 starts at attacker. She had 17 goals, 14 assists, 31 points, 28 shot attempts and 26 shots on goal. She also had 14 ground balls and four caused turnovers. She led the team in assists and was fi fth in points. Macleay scored her fi rst three goals of the season and had three ground balls and a caused turnover in a 15-3 win over Central Connecticut on March 5. She had a goal and a season-high four assists on March 21 in a 19-4 win over Marist and assisted on two more goals and scored once at No. 7/15 Northwestern on March 25. She scored a goal and had two assists at No. 12/10 Stanford on April 3, before scoring three times the following game against No. 7/6 Southern California. Macleay scored twice in a 16-3 win over San Diego State on April 10 and had two goals and two assists in a 23-0 win over Saint Mary’s on April 15. She wrapped up the regular season with two assists in a 14-9 win at Oregon on April 24 and scored twice in the MPSF Tournament semifi nals against No. 9/8 Stanford.

SOPHOMORE (2015): Macleay remained a vital part of the Buffs this season, racking up 23 goals and 17 assists for a total of 40 points, putting her at the third most points on the team and second in assists. She had 37 shots on goal and earned a .860 shots on goal percentage. Macleay started 17 of 18 games and saw play time in all of them helping the Buffs to an 11-7 overall season record. She also had 22 ground balls and caused fi ve turnovers. Macleay had a four- point game with two goals and two assists in a 19-0 win over Presbyterian on March 2. She had back-to-back two-goal games in a pair of close wins, a 10-9 win over New Hampshire (March 17) and 14-13 double-overtime victory at Michigan (March 22). Macleay had her fi rst of two six-point games on March 27 in a 17-7 win over UMass Lowell with three goals and three assists. Her second six-point game came on April 17 in a 21-5 win over Saint Mary's (Calif.) with a season-high four goals and two assists. She also had a fi ve-point game with a season-high three assists and two goals to beat Fresno State 16-7. HIGH SCHOOL: Macleay averaged 5.5 points per game in her four years at Sherwood Forest. She made Annapolis High School's varsity squad her sophomore season, playing in every game and helping the Panthers to a 9-5 record. Her junior season, the team improved to 11-3-1. Macleay not only led Anne Arundel County in assists, but also set a single-season record with 45 in 15 games. Her 20 goals that season also helped her rank in the top six in the county in overall points. She received second-team All-County honors from The Capital and was named a Maryland Girls LAX Player of the Week. In her fi nal season, she led the team in points, scoring 29 goals and contributing 49 assists. She topped her county record for most assists with 49 in 14 games. She also set an Annapolis high school record for the most assists in a single game, contributing seven against Southern High School. In her fi nal prep game, she had one goal and fi ve assists as the Panthers fell in the second round of playoffs to the eventual Maryland state champions. Macleay spent four years with the Maryland United Lacrosse Club. She was also a point guard on the Annapolis basketball team, tallying a 16-4 record in the 2011-12 season.

PERSONAL: Katherine Macleay was born on January 24, 1994. Her mother is Judith O'Brien. Macleay's sister, Maggie, played Division III lacrosse at St. Mary's College of Maryland. She has worked as a lifeguard, and hopes to go to medical school after graduation. Macleay was an honor student in the International Baccalaureate Program. She is a fan of the Washington Redskins and the Harry Potter books and movies. She likes listening to Taylor Swift and Rihanna. Macleay chose CU to be near the mountains and to make history.

JUNIOR (2016): McCain played in four games as a reserve defender. She had one assist and one caused turnover. Both her assist and caused turnover came in a 23-0 win over Saint Mary’s (Calif.) on April 15. She also saw action against Central Connecticut, Marist and California—all wins.

SOPHOMORE (2015): In her second year as a Buff, McCain played in 15 games and started in eight. She earned one assist, seven ground balls, and three draw controls in her time on the fi eld. The midfi elder helped the Buffs to a 13-5 victory over Marquette with an assist, and overall the team came out 11-7 for the season. She collected a season-high three ground balls and caused two turnovers in a 21-5 win over Saint Mary's (Calif.) on April 17.

FRESHMAN (2014): McCain was an important substitute in the midfi eld, seeing minutes in 18 games (including both MPSF Tournament games) and making six starts. McCain took her fi rst shot on goal in her fi rst collegiate game at Jacksonville. She had a strong end to the month of March, picking up two ground balls in back-to-back games. In CU’s fi rst MPSF home game, McCain made the most of her fourth start. In addition to her two ground balls, she caused a turnover and scored her fi rst goal, netting the fi nal goal in the Buffs’ 19-5 victory over St. Mary’s.

HIGH SCHOOL: McCain excelled in two sports at New Trier. She captained both New Trier’s lacrosse and ice hockey teams as a senior. McCain earned back-to-back All-Conference and All-State honors in her fi nal two seasons of lacrosse. In 2012, the team won the Central Suburban League Championship and earned a spot in the state championship game. That year, McCain was named to the Under Armour All-America Midwest and Chicago Metro National teams. McCain also played for the True Lacrosse club from 2011-12. She was a four-year letter-winner in hockey, helping New Trier to a state championship in 2012.

She led the Buffs to an 11-10 win to open the season at Denver on Feb. 12 with three assists and one draw control. Moore scored twice and had four draw controls and two ground balls in an 18-4 win at Fresno State on Feb. 21. She picked up a season-high fi ve ground balls and chipped in with three draw controls and a caused turnover at No. 7/6 Notre Dame on Feb. 26. She had a season-high six draw controls and added four ground balls and three caused turnovers in a 19-4 win over Marist on March 21. Her best performance of the season came in a 14-3 win at UC Davis when she had two goals, two assists, fi ve draw controls, four ground balls and two caused turnovers. As a result, she was named CU Female Athlete of the Week on March 28. Moore also scored twice and controlled four draws at No. 12/10 Stanford on April 3. She scored two times in a 16-4 win over California on April 17. She had two or more goals in seven straight games from April 3 until she scored one goal in a win over Oregon on April 26. She totaled a season-high seven points with season highs of four goals and three assists in a 21-5 win over Saint Mary's (Calif.) on April 17. She also had three- goal games against No. 13 Stanford, San Diego State and Fresno State, and two-goal games against UC Davis, Southern California and California. Moore had a season-high 11 draw controls in her three-goal game against Fresno State on April 24. One of her best defensive games came in an 8-6 win over Oregon on April 26 when she had fi ve ground balls and four caused turnovers. She had a goal and an assist in a win over San Diego State on April 30 in the fi rst round of the MPSF Tournament.

FRESHMAN (2014): The 2014 co-captain proved a true leader in her freshman season. Moore was one of seven Buffs to start all 19 games, and led the team with 68 draw controls, 43 ground balls and 15 caused turnovers. Moore also set CU single-game records with seven ground balls (against Brown) and 11 draw controls (against Old Dominion). Her 11 draw controls also matched a 2014 MPSF single-game high. Moore had fi ve or more draw controls in fi ve different games. She ranked in the top four on the team in points (32), goals (29), free-position goals (11), shots (53) and shots on goal (44). She ranked in the MPSF top eight in ground balls, draw controls, shots and free-position goals per game. Moore scored goals in 14 games, beginning the season on a six-game scoring streak. She recorded six hat tricks and scored at least two goals on nine occasions. Moore earned an MPSF Rookie of the Week title for recording hat tricks and netting game-winners in back-to-back games against Temple and Fresno State, the latter of which served as CU’s fi rst ever conference victory. In the MPSF Tournament, Moore tallied two goals, six draw controls, three caused turnovers (becoming one of only two Buffs to record three in a single game) and two ground balls.

HIGH SCHOOL: Moore and the Brick Memorial lacrosse team accomplished a lot in three seasons before Moore was forced to sit out her senior year with an ACL injury. In Moore's fi rst year with the team, the Mustangs recorded their fi rst ever winning season. In her freshman and sophomore seasons, she was named third-team All-Shore. The team's captain for three seasons, Moore scored 94 goals and had 73 assists her junior season while being named to the South Jersey National Team and picking up fi rst-team All-Shore, third-team all-state and team MVP honors. Moore was the Shore's leading point scorer, netting 202 goals and adding 168 assists in three seasons. She was named 2013 ESPN Player to Watch. Moore was also skilled on the soccer pitch. She was her team's captain her junior and senior seasons and earned three MVP honors. She was also a fi rst-team all-county and A-South selection. She spent fi ve seasons with the T3 Elite lacrosse club and helped the Brick Bullets soccer club to the 2009 State Cup Championship. Moore was also a two-year letter-winner in basketball.

IN THE CLASSROOM: Moore is a psychology major.

PERSONAL: Marie Moore was born on September 26, 1994, to Bernadette and Adrien David Moore. Moore was on distinguished honor roll all four years of high school. She was a member of the Key Club her freshman year, the National Honor Society as a junior and the Peer Leadership mentoring program as a senior. She enjoys math and going to the beach. She is a New York Yankees fan who loves the music of Sublime.

She recorded one ground ball each in wins against Central Connecticut and Marist. Her best game of the year came in a 23-0 win over Saint Mary’s (Calif.) on April 15 when she had two ground balls and one caused turnover.

SOPHOMORE (2015): In her sophomore season, Morsches played four games and tallied one ground ball and one draw control. The Buffs defeated their opponents in all the games Morsches came into play and she helped them to an 11-7 overall season record. She had a ground ball against UMass Lowell and a draw control against Presbyterian.

FRESHMAN (2014): Morsches worked as one of the Buffs’ go-to substitutes, playing in 15 games and making a start against New Hampshire. Morsches also saw action in both of CU’s MPSF Tournament games. She earned her fi rst draw control in her collegiate debut against Temple. Two games later, she scooped up a ground ball and caused a turnover against Massachusetts. She got on a roll in her next three games, winning a draw and causing a turnover against New Hampshire, grabbing a ground ball against Brown and putting a free-position shot on goal against St. Mary’s. Morsches ended the season with three ground balls and two draw controls and caused turnovers.

HIGH SCHOOL: A multi-sport athlete, Morsches helped the Culver lacrosse team to four consecutive state championship games, taking home the title in 2013. As a senior, she led the state with 60 goals and ranked second with 54 assists, helping her to fi rst-team All-American titles from both U.S. Lacrosse and Lacrosse Magazine. The team captain her fi nal year, she was named a Culver Athlete of the Month and earned back-to-back fi rst-team all-state honors and spots on the State Championship All-Tournament team. She was also named to the all-tournament team at Western Reserve. Morsches and her team capped the 2012 season as the runner- up in the Midwest Tournament. That season, Morsches also earned a spot on the all-region team and was named to the Indiana/Kentucky National Team, competing with the team in the NCAA Final Four. Morsches played for the Lakeshore Lacrosse club in 2011 and 2012. She was a forward for the Culver basketball team, helping the squad to the 2011 Sectional Championship. She was also a four-year letter-winner for the equestrienne team and played volleyball.

She recorded her fi rst two career assists and caused a turnover in a 16-3 win over San Diego State on April 10. She had three points with two goals and an assist in a 23-0 win over Saint Mary’s (Calif.) on April 15.

HIGH SCHOOL: Nemirov earned three letters playing lacrosse at Ward Melville High School in Setauket, New York. In addition to lacrosse, she earned four letters on the fi eld hockey team and in her junior year, she was named all-division for both lacrosse and hockey. Her senior year, she was all-county in both lacrosse and fi eld hockey. As a senior on the lacrosse team, she fi nished with 68 points, 32 goals and 36 assists.

HIGH SCHOOL: Nissen is a 2016 graduate of Moorestown High School where she was a second team all-state player as a senior, while serving as a team captain. A three-year letterwinner and four-year participant, she led Moorestown to three state championships and a sectional championship each year. As a junior, she was named a U.S. Lacrosse academic All-American and she graduated with honors. Nissen also lettered four years in soccer, where she also served as a team captain and led her team to two division championships and two South Jersey Group 3 championships. She lists being a member of two undefeated teams and being a part of the No. 1-ranked public high school team in the nation as the biggest moments of her prep career. She was also a member of the Moorestown High School Honor and Service Society and her school’s SAAC.

HIGH SCHOOL: O’Connor lettered four years in lacrosse, playing goalie at Needham High School in Neeedham, Mass. O’Connor also lettered two years in hockey and one year in soccer (also playing goalie). In her four- year career as the Rockets’ goalie, O’Connor boasted an 82-11-1 record, allowing just 5.68 goals per game. With O’Connor in net, Needham went on to win four consecutive Lacrosse Bay State Conference Championships between 2011-14. O’Connor was named to the fi rst team Bay State Conference Team three consecutive years as a sophomore, junior and senior as well as being named team defensive MVP in those three years. In her sophomore year she was named to the ESPN All-State fi rst team.

JUNIOR (2016): Rovzar started all 18 games as a defender, leading the Buffaloes to the second-best scoring defense in the MPSF and the seventh-best in the nation at 7.00 goals allowed per game. She guarded the opposing team’s top player behind the net and had 19 ground balls, nine caused turnovers, four draw controls and one assist. She had two ground balls in an 18-4 win at Fresno State on Feb. 21. Rovzar had three ground balls and a caused turnover in a 15-14 overtime win against James Madison on March 3. She recorded her fi rst career assist and had two ground balls in a 23-0 win over Saint Mary’s (Calif.) on April 15. She caused a turnover and picked up two ground balls in the MPSF Tournament semifi nals against No. 9/8 Stanford. SOPHOMORE (2015): Rovzar played and started in 17 of the team's 18 games in 2015. She scooped up an impressive 19 ground balls, took four draw controls, and caused seven turnovers. She was a vital aspect to the Buff’s defense and helped them to an 11-7 overall record for the 2015 season. She helped the Buffs fi nish third in the MPSF in goals-against average (9.16) and fi fth in caused turnovers per game (7.56). She had two ground balls against No. 7 Northwestern, UC Davis, No. 13 Stanford and Fresno State. In two games at the MPSF Tournament, she had nine total ground balls with four in a fi rst-round win over San Diego State and a season-high fi ve against No. 15 Stanford. She also had two caused turnovers in each conference tournament game.

FRESHMAN (2014): The 2014 co-captain was one of seven players to start all 19 of the Buffs’ games in the inaugural season. Rovzar acted as a defense leader, concluding her freshman season with 17 ground balls, seven draw controls, six caused turnovers and one shot. She is a fan of the Los Angeles Lakers and the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. She participated in the YMCA Youth and Government program in 2010 and 2011. She was a two-time California Scholarship Federation selection. Rovzar traveled to Taru, Kenya with Kenya Keys to help educate students. After graduation, she hopes to become a family counselor.

JUNIOR (2016): Salvadore saw action in all 18 games and started four times at midfi elder and defender. She totaled two goals, eight shot attempts, 16 ground balls and nine caused turnovers. She started the fi rst three games of the season and caused two turnovers and had two ground balls at No. 7/6 Notre Dame on Feb. 26, her third start of the year. She scored a goal in a 19-4 win over Marist on March 21 and another in a 14-3 win at UC Davis on April 1. Her three ground balls were a season high in a 16-3 win at San Diego State, where she also caused two turnovers. She had a season-high three turnovers and had two ground balls in a 16-4 win over California, her fourth start of the season.

SOPHOMORE (2015): Salvadore saw action in all 18 games and had starts in 14. She tallied seven goals, two of which were game winners, and ten ground balls. With 14 shots on goal she earned a percentage of .875 in her sophomore season. She had a season-high four ground balls in a win over Presbyterian on March 2. She found the net twice in reserve action in a 17-7 win over UMass Lowell on March 27 and scored again in the next game, a 13-5 win over UC Davis. Salvadore had her fi rst hat trick with three goals in a 21-5 victory over Saint Mary's (Calif.) on April 17. She scored her fi nal goal of the season in the fi rst round of the MPSF Tournament on April 30 in a win over San Diego State. Salvadore started the fi nal 10 games of the year. Her senior year, she was honored as an all-area selection and Monroe Scholar Athlete. She was a member of the Tri-State Lacrosse - Black team her fi rst three years of high school. In 2012, the team posted an 11-3-2 record, and Salvadore was named the team's MVP at the Downington, Penn. Tournament. She was also a three-year varsity starter for both the Monroe Township fi eld hockey and track teams. As a senior, she was the fi eld hockey team captain and earned second-team All-Northern New Jersey honors. She also earned back-to-back fi rst-team All-GMC honors in fi eld hockey. She was a sprinter, hurdler and shot putter for the track team, running the 55-yard dash in 8.3 seconds.

She enjoys dancing and doing ceramics and nail art. She's a fan of Taylor Swift and the New York Giants. Her favorite athlete is Gabby Douglas. She was the vice president of her junior class, the girl representative for her town's rec advisory board and a member of the National Honor Society. She chose CU for the atmosphere and the experience of being somewhere totally different from her hometown. After graduation, she hopes to become an athletic trainer.

SOPHOMORE (2016): Sarcona played in three games as a reserve attacker, scoring two goals on two shots. She scored on a free-position shot in her fi rst appearance of the season in a 15-3 win over Central Connecticut on March 5. She also scored in a 23-0 win over Saint Mary’s (Calif.) on April 15.

FRESHMAN (2015): In her fi rst year with the Buffs, Sarcona played in six games, making her debut in the fi rst game of the 2015 season against University of Denver. She tallied her fi rst and only assist of the season against Presbyterian and helped the Buffs take a 19-0 win.

HIGH SCHOOL: Sarcona played both lacrosse (attack) and volleyball (outside hitter) at Northport. In lacrosse, Sarcona and Northport had an amazing season, posting a perfect 14-0 record while winning the Suffolk County, Long Island and New York State Championships. The team went 11-3 in 2012 and 9-5 in 2013. Sarcona helped the team to a 10-4 record as a senior, earning all-league honors. She spent six years with the Long Island Yellow Jackets lacrosse club, which won the U-15 National Championship in 2012.

PERSONAL: Julia Francesca Sarcona was born in Huntington, N.Y., on June 30, 1996. Her parents Joseph and Alessandra work as a wholesale seafood distributor and a dietician, respectively. PERSONAL: Dominique Shells was born on Nov. 8, 1997 to Reginald and Celia Shells. Her father ran track at the University of Illinoi and her mother was a cheerleader at Prairie View A&M. She enjoys volunteering, Sudoku and has a goal of being an employee at a Fortune 500 company after graduation. Despite graduating high school in Denver, she is a Seattle Seahawks fan and was born in Washington. She also is a fan of the Denver Outlaws. She chose CU over Northwestern, Rutgers and Army West Point because it is an up-and-coming program and she believes the great coaching staff will be able to help her grow over the next four years. SOPHOMORE (2016): Sisk tore her ACL during preseason and missed the entire season.

FRESHMAN (2015): Sisk excelled in her fi rst year as a Buff. She scored the third-most goals with a total of 27 with three of those being game-winners. The midfi elder saw action in all 18 games and started in 17. She earned four assists, 31 points, and 58 shots in total. Sisk was also named MPSF Rookie of the Week (March 16). She was also active away from the goal, winning 25 draw controls, picking up 20 ground balls and causing 14 turnovers. Her hat trick and assist for four points in a win over Marquette on Feb. 14 started a streak of nine straight games with at least one goal. She matched her season-high of four points with three goals and an assist in a win over UMass Lowell on March 27. Sisk also had hat tricks in a 14-13 double-overtime win at Michigan and in a 16-7 victory over Fresno State. She had two-goal games against No. 7 Northwestern, New Hampshire, UC Davis, No. 13 Stanford and California. Her season-highs for ground balls (3), draw controls (4) and caused turnovers (3) came in wins against UMass Lowell, New Hampshire and UC Davis, respectively. Sisk had a goal and an assist in two games at the MPSF Tournament, scoring a goal in the semifi nals against No. 15 Stanford. She had game-winning goals against Marquette, New Hampshire and UMass Lowell.

HIGH SCHOOL: Sisk excelled in two sports at Cherry Creek. In lacrosse, she helped the Bruins to three consecutive league titles (2011, ’12 and ’13) and two state titles (2011, ’13). Cherry Creek also had runner-up fi nishes in the state championship in 2012 and ’14. As a freshman, she was named her team’s most improved player and was an All-State honorable mention. She earned second-team All-League honor her freshman and sophomore seasons. Sisk continued to shine as an upperclassman, earning three consecutive fi rst-team All-State honors and back-to-back All-American honorable mention and fi rst-team All-League honors. As a junior, she was Cherry Creek’s MVP and the MVP of the Colorado State Championship game and earned Player of the Year honors in the Centennial League and from the Denver Post. She had 109 saves, a .464 save percentage, 7.23 goals-against average, and a 13-5 record, while starting all 18 games. Soenksen also had a team-high 49 ground balls and caused one turnover. Soenksen led the MPSF in save percentage and saves per game (8.39) and ranked third in goals-against average, and fi nished sixth in the nation in save percentage, 21st in saves per game and 33rd in GAA. She had seven games with 10 or more saves. Her fi rst came in a 13-5 victory over Marquette on Feb. 14 when she stopped 10 shots. Soenksen led the Buffs to the fi rst shutout in CU history, playing the fi rst half of a 19-0 win over Presbyterian on March 2. She stopped 13 shots against No. 7 Northwestern and made 11 saves in a 10-9 victory over New Hampshire on March 17. Her 17 saves against No. 13 Stanford on April 5 were a season high, starting a three-game streak with double-digit saves. She then turned away 11 shots against Southern California and made 16 saves in a 7-6 win over San Diego State on April 12. That win sparked the best stretch of the season for CU as the Buffs won fi ve of six games. Soenksen made four saves and allowed just two goals in 30 minutes against Saint Mary's (Calif.). She led CU to wins over Fresno State and Oregon at home to wrap up the regular season, allowing just a total of 13 goals in the two contests. She then made seven saves in a fi rst-round win over San Diego State at the MPSF Tournament on April 30 and wrapped up the season with 13 saves against No. 15 Stanford in the semifi nals.

FRESHMAN (2014): A defensive dynamo for the Buffs, Soenksen’s outstanding rookie season helped her receive attention both in the conference and nationally. Soenksen led the conference and ranked second in the nation in saves (203), save percentage (.525) and saves per game (10.68). Her goals-against average of 10.08 also ranked in the nation’s top 50. Soenksen started all 19 games, spending 1095:17 in the crease, helping the Buffs to an 11-8 record. Soenksen held 11 opponents to nine or fewer goals, allowing just three goals in just under 53 minutes played in the Buffs’ inaugural game at Stetson. She grabbed 12 or more saves on nine separate occasions. Soenksen earned back-to-back MPSF Rookie of the Week honors during the regular season. For her fi rst honor, she combined for 28 saves and posted an impressive .609 save percentage in a road trip to UC Davis and then-No. 8 Stanford. She began the weekend with nine saves in CU’s 14-5 win over UCD, allowing just two players to score. She had a record-breaking performance at Stanford, breaking career and CU-single game records while tying the 2014 MPSF single-game high of 19 saves. She earned another ROW title after her next two outings. She had 16 saves against USC, grabbing a big save with three minutes left in regulation, keeping the tie intact and eventually helping CU to a 12-11 overtime victory. Soenksen had 12 more saves (fi ve coming in overtime play) and a career-high four ground balls in the Buffs’ 7-6 sudden victory over SDSU. In the postseason, Soenksen grabbed 26 saves and a ground ball and caused a turnover, earning a spot on the MPSF All-Tournament team. In addition to her prowess in net, Soenksen grabbed 14 ground balls, caused a turnover and contributed an assist.

HIGH SCHOOL: A four-year letter-winner, Soenksen grabbed 132 saves and recorded a .512 save percentage in the net. In her fi nal season, Soenksen and La Costa Canyon claimed C.I.F. Open Division and Avocado League Championships, their second consecutive year taking home the league title. Her team’s captain her senior year, she was named to the Western Girls Lacrosse All-American Team and was crowned the Union Tribune and C.I.F. Player of the Year. She was also named an AP Scholar with Distinction and was a fi rst-team Avocado League and California Scholastic Federation selection as a senior. In her fi nal two seasons, she was named her team’s MVP, fi rst-team All-C.I.F. and an Academic All-American, while earning the title of Avocado League Player of the Year. In addition to the league title her junior season, La Costa Canyon posted an amazing 18-1 record and also won the CIF - San Diego Section D1 Championship. The team ended the season ranked No. 1 in the West and No. 24 in the nation, according to Lacrosse Magazine. That year, Soenksen was also named the North County Times Player of the Year, fi rst-team CIF D1 and was a U.S. Lacrosse All-American honorable mention. She further excelled in the classroom with Union Tribune All-Academic and an AP Scholar honors. Soenksen was a two-time CIF Scholar Athlete and was named to the San Diego WDNT team as a junior. She was also a two-time team MVP of her Pacifi c Falcons club squad that claimed the 2011 Bay Area Bonanza Championship.

PERSONAL: Paige "Sunny" Soenksen was born on September 12, 1995, to Dirk and Kathleen Soenksen. Her older sister Amy plays lacrosse at Hamilton College. Her older brother Eric plays lacrosse at California. Soenksen plays the saxophone and likes the music of Luke Bryan. She enjoys reading the Harry Potter books and watching movies like The Dark Knight. She's a fan of the San Diego Chargers and the Los Angeles Kings. She felt CU was a good overall fi t, and took the opportunity to help build a program over going to other recruiters Harvard, Brown and Cal.

• MPSF Rookie of the Week (April 18) FRESHMAN (2016): Stinson had a solid freshman season, playing in all 18 games with eight starts as an attacker/midfi elder. She scored 13 goals and had three assists for 16 points, while attempting 44 shots, including 39 on goal. She also had two game-winning goals, 11 ground balls, eight draw controls and three caused turnovers. Stinson scored twice in her fi rst career appearance, including the game-winning goal during an 11-10 win at Denver on Feb. 12. Her four draw controls were a season high in an 18-4 win at Fresno State on Feb. 21. Her fi rst career assist came in a 15-14 overtime win against James Madison on March 3. Stinson scored twice at No. 12/10 Stanford on April 3 and she scored two more times in a 16-3 win over San Diego State on April 10. She netted a goal and an assist in a 23-0 win over Saint Mary’s (Calif.) on April 15. Stinson had season highs of four points and three goals in a 16-4 win over California on April 17, earning her MPSF Rookie of the Week honors one day later.

HIGH SCHOOL: Stinson was a two-sport athlete at Trinity Episcopal School in Richmond, Va. She was a fi ve year varsity starter, earning fi ve letters with the lacrosse team and a four year varsity starter, earning four letters in fi eld hockey. A two-time lacrosse captain, Stinson earned numerous accolades, including a First-Team All-American selection as a junior and senior, First-Team All-State in 2015, and in 2014, she was an All-State Second Team selection. Stinson, the 2015 Trinity Episcopal Female Athlete of the Year was also selected to the USA Today All-USA Virginia Girls Lacrosse Team the same year. She was an All-Conference team selection fi ve times and led the team in scoring during her freshman, sophomore and junior seasons. She is the all-time leading scorer at Trinity Episcopal with 345 goals and 124 assists, highlighted by scoring 94 goals and tallying 18 assists in the fi nal year of her prep career. Stinson played on the WDNT-Mid-Atlantic team from 2012-14 and was part of the Mohawk bracket champions in 2014. Also in 2014, she was on the Under Armour All-American-DC Metro team. In 2011, she earned Rookie of the Year honors, was named Offensive Player of the Year during in 2012 and earned one of the team’s top honors–the Most Valuable Player award as a junior and senior. As a member of the fi eld hockey team, Stinson played midfi eld and defense, and helped guide her team to a Conference Championship in 2014, SEASON STAT LINES while also earning All-Conference honors the same season.

She also lettered one year in basketball.

HIGH SCHOOL: Wolf graduated from Kentucky Country Day School in 2016, where she was a fi ve-year letterwinner in lacrosse, fi eld hockey, cross country and track. In lacrosse, she earned All-America, all-state and defender of the year honors. She led her team to the state tournament four times, including championships in 2015 and 2016.

PERSONAL: Elinor Ross Wolf was born on Dec. 31, 1997 to John and Laurie Wolf. Her father played football at Murray State and her uncle Louis Wolf played football at Kentucky. She enjoys horse racing and her father is well-known in professional horse racing as a breeder. Wolf chose CU for the education, location and lacrosse program.
