Sinimol P, Faculty Department of Biology, was selected as the Best Seed Co-ordinator from Ernakulam District by Mathrubhumi Seed Club for empowering students in nature conservation and our school received a consolation prize with A grade. 3 ➢ Aryavrinda V Nair of Std X - C secured the 1st prize in Classical Music Competition and C S Muralikrishna of Std VII-A has secured the 1st prize in Mridangam at the Vidyodaya Musical Fest 2018. ➢ Our students who won the SOF Zonal Prizes are: Adarsha R Menon of Std IX bagged the prize for International General Knowledge Olympiad, Ammini Gopika Rajesh of Std XI was the prize winner for International English Olympiad, Vaishnav Sunil of STD XII was the proud winner of National Cyber Olympiad held at our school. ➢ Aryavrinda V Nair, of Std X C was felicitated in the assembly for having received the prestigious Augustine Joseph Memorial Thamburu Award. ➢ Sona V V of Std IX, the topper of Sugama Hindi Examination in Ernakulam District, conducted by Kerala Hindi Prachar Sabha was felicitated during the morning assembly. ➢ Akshat Surya and Abhiraj B. of Std IX received the III prize in FIFA quiz held at Municipality Zonal Office Hall, Kochi. ➢ Gouri S. Dev of standard XI won the III prize for Public speaking competition ‘Impromptu’ held at TocH Public School. ➢ Gangesh V Menon and Niranjana Maneyil of Std V, won the III prize at Prateeksha Inter School Competition, in the Mathematics Quiz, X-Factor held at Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir, Elamakkara. They received certificates and a cash prize of Rs.1000. 4 ➢ The students who won the trophies and certificates at Sanskrit Mahotsava 2018 held at Chinmaya International Foundation are: ▪ Tara G. of Std. X-A, secured the first prize for the Ashubhashanam as well as Upanyasarachna competition. ▪ Gouri S Dev of Std XI won the first prize for Kavya Rachna ▪ Anjali Anil Kumar of Std IX-A won the first prize for Bhagvat Gita Parayanam. ▪ Manjusha M R of Std IX-A secured first prize for Padyocharanam competition. ▪ Shivani S of Std IV-A secured the third prize for Padyocharanam competition. ▪ Nandika M Nair of Std II-A secured the first prize in Bhagvatgita parayanam. ➢ Esha Rachel Dipu of Std VII-C, secured the II prize and Ethan Kuriakose Dipu of Std II-A secured the III prize at YMCA District Inter School and Open Senior Checkers Tournament, held at YMCA Ernakulam. ➢ Naveen Krishna of Std. VIII-C won the third prize in Painting Competition held at Tripunithura Municipality in connection with Atham 2018. ➢ Devnanda R Nair was the GOLD TOPPER in 95th Kerala State Level Regional Abacus Competition Brainobrain fest 2018. ➢ Girls Volleyball Team was the winner of Varuna Cup. ➢ Our School secured the first position in Under - 17 Girls Category for III CBSE Cluster XI Kabaddi Tournament 2018- 19 and the 1st Runners Up in Under -17 Boys and Under-19 Girls Category. We also emerged the 2nd Runners Up in Under 19 Boys Category. ➢ Our students participated in ‘Vishishta’competition conducted by Adarsha College of Arts and Commerce and Abhiram S Nair of Std XI got the 1st prize in Zendooling. Namith Suresh of Std XI secured the 1st prize in Jewel from Junk. 5 ➢ In CBSE Cluster II Athletic meet conducted at Labour India Public School, Pala, Febin K Reji of Std XII secured the 3rd prize in Long Jump and Helen Mary Kuriakose of Std IX bagged the 2nd prize in Javelin Throw. ➢ CBSE Cluster X and XI Volley Ball Tournament 2018-19 was conducted at Bhavan’s Varuna Vidyalaya, Thrikkakara. Our school secured the 3rd prize in Under-19 Girls Category. ➢ Niranjana Manayil of Std V bagged the 1st prize in Purana Quiz conducted by NSS Karayogam at T D M Hall Ernakulam as part of Navarathri Programme. She also secured the 2nd prize in English and Hindi Handwriting Competition. ➢ Mrs. Savithri P D, Faculty Department of Malayalam received the 1st prize in Aksharashlikam Competition held by NSS Karayogam, Ernakulam. ➢ Our students Karthik Vinod and Navaneeth R of Std X received the 3rd prize in Inter School Quiz Competition conducted by Cochin Refineries School, Ambalamughal. ➢ Adithya B Y of Std X secured the 2nd prize in English Elocution Competition and Devaki Manoj of Std X got the 2nd prize in Malayalam Elocution Competition. ➢ In the CBSE Inter School Cluster XI Kho-Kho Tournament held at MGM Model School, Varkala our Under 17 Boys Category has emerged the winners. They are also selected for National Kho-Kho Tournament which will be held at Adi Shankaracharya L P School, Jinn, Haryana. 6 .
