By now the increased volume of musical activity in Yorkshire in particular is becoming apparent; and despite the excellent contributions of writer/musicians my husband appointed to cover these events I am, alas, only able to include his in this archive, although on occasion other writers' reviews may be found on the same cutting. Despite the increase the quality has not diminished and editorial policy still supports the arts and by and large upholds its contributors in the face of the sometimes conflicting dictates of performers and readers.
