Count Clear Brook High School graduate and current University of Hous- ton sophomore outfi elder Corey Julks as one who just might be looking forward to the 2017 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft. Julks, who started 54 of 55 overall games for the Cougars this season, was named to the American Athletic Conference fi rst team after putting together a ter- rifi c season. Julks hit .341 during the regular season and ramped it up to .369 in AAC play, which ranked him second.
