10/26/2017 Cougar Baseball Fall Showcase | ABC Sports Camps Cougar Baseball Fall Showcase Age: Freshman in HS to Sophomores in Junior College Location: University of Houston Cougar Field & Houston Area HS Field Saturday, November 11, 2017 to Sunday, November 12, 2017 Starts: 9:00am / Ends: 4:00pm Showcase Cost: $250.00 Showcase Description Consistently recognized as one of the nation's elite college baseball program each year, Houston Baseball has elevated its program over the last several seasons and now remains among the Top 25 under head coach Todd Whitting. 2018 will mark the eighth year for Whitting at the helm and under his guidance, the Cougars have won four American Athletic Conference Championships (two tournament (2014, 2017) and two regular-season titles (2015, 2017)). Houston has been awarded two NCAA Regional host bids (2015, 2017), while advancing to an NCAA Super Regional following a Regional Championship in Baton Rouge, La. in 2014. Houston Baseball has notched three 40+ win seasons in the last four years and is coming off two American Championships in 2017, which was a feat that had not been accomplished since 2000. Also since his arrival back to Houston, Whitting has coached 30 All-Conference honorees, four All- Americans, seven Freshman All-Americans, one conference Player of the Year, one conference Pitcher of the Year, one conference Newcomer of the Year and four conference Freshman of the Year. 30 Cougars were selected in the MLB First-Year Player Draft since 2011 and of the 31, 25 were undrafted out of high school - showing the development of the Houston program. -

What is the temporary staffing volume / percentage as it pertains to this RFP? Answer: No temporary staff is currently used for Facility Maintenance 3. Are you willing to explore any additional services to the partnership to support your current labor model (parking lot, new E&G space, Res Halls, etc)? Answer: No. This RFP is solely for Athletic Facilities. 4. Who do they use for temporary labor? Answer: Temporary labor is hired by the provider. 5. How much is your student labor spend? Answer: The provider currently only uses student labor for conversions and not for facility maintenance or custodial. 6. Within the campus strategic plan there are new buildings coming online. When would these building be considered “live” and would UH consider including these to support a labor model? Answer: See #3 7. How does UH support the stadium/athletics from its current custodial partner(s) on campus? Answer: The University’s custodial partner is not involved in Athletic Facilities 8. How many events are scheduled per each location (TDECU Stadium, Alumni Center, and Athletic Center)?
