I would like to provide additional information regarding the Mass and Dinner Honoring the Cardinal Grand Master planned for May 29, 2018 at the Saint John Paul II National Shrine.
As with all events of the Lieutenancy, the invitation is extended to Clergy Knights, Knights, Ladies, and non-member spouses. Please accept my personal invitation, and that of the Lieutenancy Prior, to non-member spouses in the hope that they will be able to join in this celebration.
There is no cost for this event. However, you are quite welcome to make a contribution, mailed to the address at the end of this communication.
As to attire: When you were invested, or recently promoted, you received: 1. The Insignia of the Order – the decoration worn around the neck, 2. Either a stickpin for Ladies or rosette for Ladies, Knights, and Clergy Knights, and 3. A pin with a yellow and a white bar, from which extends a black ribbon with the insignia of your rank affixed. This pin is the miniature.
Thank you to all who have indicated that they will attend the dinner, to those who are still considering, and to those who will be united with us in prayer at Mass and in our thoughts and hearts throughout the evening.
