Up 2-0 inside twenty minutes, the Tigers blew their lead to slip to a disappointing draw at home. Chris Payne scored from the spot soon after kickoff before Tynan Diaz added a second barely ten minutes later, but Dominic Cox and Charles Lokolingoy were on hand to help Sutherland storm back in the second half. After Wollongong’s loss to Sydney Olympic earlier in the afternoon, APIA might have finished the round within three points of the leaders, but instead sit five points off top spot – and with a few challengers behind them. Blacktown City 1 – Sydney Olympic 1 at Lily Homes Stadium Blacktown City and Sydney Olympic have shared the spoils after an exhilarating 1-1 draw at Lily Homes Stadium on Sunday. It was a thrilling end to end encounter with Olympic unlucky not to snatch an unlikely victory in a frantic final minutes. Joey Gibbs fired home for Blacktown midway through the second half, but it was quickly cancelled out when Olympic equalised only two minutes later through Radovan Pavicevic. Both sides traded chances in crazy closing ten minutes but neither could find the breakthrough as they took only a point away from an enthralling contest. 6 #NPLNSW TEAM OF THE WEEK 01: LARGE USE: OVER 150MM WIDE This logo has a smaller ‘®’ symbol FOOTBALL NSW WOULD LIKE TO THANK THEIR SPONSORS FOR THEIR CONTINUED SUPPORT 02: SMALL USE: 55MM - 150MM WIDE This logo has a larger ‘®’ symbol NPLNSW.COM.AU 7 SPONSORS 8 #NPLNSW TOP GOAL SCORERS NAME & CLUB GOALS SCORED Thomas James (Wollongong Wolves) 16 Chris Payne (APIA Leichhardt Tigers) 13 Alejandro Sanchez (Sydney Olympic) 11 Marko Jesic (Marconi Stallions) 9 Mirjan Pavlovic (Marconi Stallions) 8 Mitchell Mallia (Marconi Stallions) 8 Jeremy Cox (Sutherland Sharks) 8 Brendan Cholakian (Manly United) 7 Peter Simonoski (Sydney United 58) 7 ALEJANDRO SANCHEZ SYDNEY OLYMPIC Alec Urosevski (Rockdale City Suns) 6 PHOTO GALLERY NPLNSW.COM.AU 9 NPL NSW YOUTH TEAM LISTS UNDER 13’S UNDER 14’S 49 Jamie McDonough GK 33 Finn Fristaad 50 Samuel Smith 44 Jordan McAllister 51 Antonio Kalabric 48 Zacharie McKelvie 52 Brandan Darke 45 Marcus Koukoutaris 53 Cameron Munro 42 Joel Cubitt 54 Christian Vujic 39 Jackson Barter 55 Hugo Mezei 37 Cooper Kerridge 56 Jack Pereira 40 Jaden Gasking 57 Jacob McLachlan 38 Gian Zinnato 58 Christian Marko 35 Benjamin Caroutas 59 Lachlan Maher 41 James Ciot 60 Lucas Trajcevski 34 Ben Nanai 62 Noah Ovens 36 Christian Radman 63 Sebastian Dobre 43 Jonathan Vakauta 64 Thomas O’Brien 46 Riley Fowler 47 Ryley Hollingdale UNDER 15’S UNDER 16’S GK 33 Ryan James GK 1 Zac Smith GK 17 Beau Ward 13 Nicholas Karavatakis 22 George Mavridis 5 Dylan Monoz 25 John Fotopoulos 11 Luke Dearsley 26 Kaidyn Wright 15 Ryan Doig 31 Trelawney Brown 9 Josh Field 27 Kynan Moffit 12 Nelson Lam 20 Brohden Souris 3 Alexander Kilazoglou 28 Lachlan Macdonald 8 Jordan Kizi 30 Michael Kokoviadis 2 Adam Castle 29 Lucas Kotevski 6 Evan Souris 21 Dylan Petitcuenot 16 Taylan Skurtevski 23 Jacob Tresoglavic 7 Jarvis Paterson 47 Jesse Photi 10 Julian Trovato 48 Tye McGowan 4 Dean Borbilas 14 Rocco Mellino NPLNSW.COM.AU 11 U13 - NPL NSW YOUTH POS TEAM P W D L F A GD PTS 1 Western Sydney Wanderers FC 14 13 1 0 48 12 36 40 2 Sydney Olympic FC 13 11 2 0 43 12 31 35 3 Sutherland Sharks FC 14 11 1 2 36 10 26 34 4 Central Coast Mariners FC 14 11 1 2 37 17 20 34 5 Sydney FC 14 9 2 3 27 9 18 29 6 Manly United FC 12 7 4 1 15 7 8 25 7 Rockdale City Suns FC 14 7 4 3 19 14 5 25 8 Canterbury Bankstown FC 14 8 0 6 35 24 11 24
