February 28,2011 at the Pauline T. Blair, 87, of 33555 Devoe Ridge Rd., Lewisville, Ohio, died Monday, Woodsfield Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Woodsfield, Ohio. She was born in Woodsfield, Ohio on January 28,1924, a daughter of the late Paul Raymond and Alta Wava Todd Riemenschneider. She was a former employee of Riesbeck's Food Market, Woodsfield, Ohio; a member of Lewisvi e member of the Ladies Circles, a member o United Methodist Church, Lewisville, Ohio, where she was a the Order of Easter Star #268, Woodsfield, Ohio and a charter member of The V.F.W. Auxiliary Post Ohio. Pauline was also a member of the Past Presidents Organization of Ohio, a #5303, Woodsfield, former jury commissioner in Monroe County, Ohio and a former member of the Board of the Monroe County Health Planning Council. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Floyd Blair on July 7, 1987; two brothers, James Frazier Riemenschneider and Harry Todd Riemenschneider; and two sisters, Ruth Weimer and Betty Cummings. Surviving are one daughter. Beverly (Gary) Jones of Jerusalem, Ohio, one son; David (Susie) Blair of Lewisville, Ohio; five grandchildren: Jeffery (Vickie) Jones, Angela (Vaughn) Smith, Tiffany Majors, Adam Blair, Anna Blair; and eight great-grandchildren: Alexis, Hannah, Rebecca, Avery Rose, Quentin, Peyton, Brodrik, and Jayda. Friends will be received at the Watters Funeral Home, 37501 S.R. 78 West, Woodsfield, Ohio from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday with Rev. Richard Wilson and Rev. Frank Conley officiating. Burial will follow in the Oaklawn Cemetery, Woodsfield, Ohio. Eastern Star services at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. He was born September 28, 1944 in Glen Dale. He was preceded in death by his father, John L. Blair, Sr. Surviving are his mother, Imogene Jefferson Blair of Moundsville; a brother, John L. Blair, Jr. and his wife, Gerry of Glen Dale; a sister, Beverley J. Stephens and her husband, John of Glen Dale; and several nieces and nephews. Bevo was a graduate of West Liberty State College; a retired teacher with the Marshall Coun ty School System, where he served as assistant coach for the John Marshall High School Girl’s Basketball program; a Methodist by faith and a US Air Force veteran having served in Southeast Asia. He was a mem ber of the VFW Post 437 and the American Legion, Earl Fran cis Post #3j__ both of Moundsville. Interment ! will be in Rivcrview Cemetery, Martins Ferry. 8 ROBERT BLAIR Robert E. Blair, 90, of East Richland St. Clairsville. died Saturday, May 9, 2012, at Forest Hill Nursing Home. He was bom January 30, 1925, in Martins Ferry, a son of the late Ruel and Esther Steinman Blair. Robert was retired from Wheeling-Pittsburg Steel Martins Ferry and Consol Coal Company Egypt Valley. He was a WWII US Army Veteran, attended East Richland Friends Church, and was a member of VFW Post 5356. Bob enjoyed stock car racing and built stock cars and loved football. In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by four sisters, Carol Paglialunga, Evelyn Pickenpaugh, Catherine Paludniak and Marcia Patterson. Surviving is his wife of 61 years, Rose Dalpiaz Blair, his son, Robert A. He was bom August 6, 1923, at Wheeling, WV, a son of the late Ruel and Esther Steinman Blair. Bill was a retired Lines Supervisor for Ohio Edi son. and WWII US Army Paratrooper for the 17th Airborne 681st/ Battery B where he earned EAME Ribbon with three Bronze Stars. As a member of a family of 16, Bill was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Jim Blair and four sisters, Carol Paglialunga, Evelyn Pick- enpaugh, Catherine Palud- niak and Marcia Patterson Surviving is his wife, Marie Vincek Blair, his son, William (Nancy) Blair Princeton Junction, NJ; three granddaughters, Emma, Holly and Anna, his brothers, Raymond (Betty) Blair, Ralph (Rita) Blair, John Blair, Gene (Rose Marie) Blair, Ben (Anne) Blair and Donald (Char lotte) Blair, his sisters, Judith (Walter) Dombroski, Edna Coward, and Annette Budovski, and his sister-in- law, Rose Blair several nieces and nephews. He was a retired truck driver for Point Gasoline Company; a Corporal of Battery B, 692nd Field Artillery Battalion of the United States Army; a member of the First Christian Church of New Martinsville; the oldest member of the American Legion Post 28 of New Mar tinsville, where he was a mem ber of 62 years; a member of the former VFW of New Mar tinsville; and a member of the Loyal Order of Moose of Moundsville.
