Z - 7. Due to insufficiency of rations and clothing, 40 fo of the force became sick and due to lack of adequate medi¬ cal service and with the permission of Col. Abelardo de Dios, CO, RID, the Battalion was returned to the Apalit Area, tiiere to av/ait call for reinforcements. Immediately thereafter, the 0 and 13.# of this unit who were "USAFFL" returned to military control and so the supervision of the casual troops remained with the Office of the Inspector General. o. Delay in the submittal of this roster was due to the that the officers occupying key positions in this Batte- lion, after returning to military control of the PA* did not find time early enough to get together and submit these pa¬ pers. mention should also be of the feot that the indif¬ ference of the Guerrilla Affairs Officers of the assigned in the Aree resulted in discouragement on the pert of the guerrilla troops even to the extent of believing that with the arrival of the American Liberation Forces, the importance of the guerrilla movement has ceased and that the men in the , except those who by fortune were able to be attaohed to United States Army units, will remain unreoognizea and uncompensated for their sacrifices.

9. In view of the proximity of the lest day (Larch 15) for the submittal of guerrilla rosters, and in order to evoid delay for these papers to reach >PAC , the herein roster is being subiaittea direct to &F .BSPAC by the undersigned with¬ out passing them through the Commanding Officer, Psmpanga Mili¬ tary District, 2CLGA.
